It was good and spacious

The floor in our room was sticky.. the bed sheets had hair/stains on them. Pillows were terrible and didn’t love the smell of the hotel. Just not the best experience but it worked for one night quick stay.
-
Room cleaning was done every three days which is absurd Floor to go to pool had retched smell —- AWFULL

The bed was actually very comfortable. The best part of the whole experience if you just need a comfortable place to stay to sleep. That's your spot.

I would stay again but a different room. All rooms ending in the 41 that are at the end the hot water does not work properly . It takes awhile for it to warm up. Have to turn water on from sink to get the shower warm . The breakfast was good and staff friendly . Was locked out of my room for a little bit because the batteries died on the door reader . I would stay again however i would not stay at the corner room again

I stayed at the Sonesta ES (Extended Stay) over the 4th of July weekend, and honestly… total disappointment. I understand it was a busy holiday weekend, but cleanliness shouldn’t disappear because of it. From the moment we arrived, I noticed spider webs in the hallways, bad odors throughout the hotel (especially the elevator), and puddles of water and trash cans everywhere because of the renovations. The biggest letdown was the amenities. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were dirty the entire time I was there. I didn’t check out until Thursday, and neither pool was ever cleaned. I even asked the front desk twice when the pool would be cleaned, and I got two completely different answers. That told me everything I needed to know. The gym had a moldy smell, and even walking around outside wasn’t enjoyable because there were spider webs everywhere. I was with family, so I didn’t want to spend the trip complaining, but I definitely left feeling like an unsatisfied guest. The room itself was decent and looked surface-level clean, but the baseboards were dirty, so it didn’t feel like a deep clean had been done. The only thing this hotel really has going for it is the location. You’re close to restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and just about everything you need. For the price, I expected so much more. I’d personally rate it 2.5/5. If you’re thinking about staying here… book at your own risk and decide for yourself.

I first contacted Expedia to see if I could cancel without penalty and book somewhere with an earlier check-in time, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible. I then asked if they could contact the hotel regarding early check-in. The Expedia representative called the hotel and later confirmed that they had spoken with someone in charge, who stated that I could check in anytime after 8:00 AM for an additional $15 fee. I confirmed this arrangement and even took screenshots of the conversation for reference. Because of that confirmation, I stopped looking for alternative accommodations and felt reassured that I would have somewhere to stay upon arrival. The next morning, I arrived at the hotel around 11:00 AM and requested the early check-in that had been approved the night before. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The front desk employee immediately became dismissive and raised her voice, telling me that my room was not ready. When I tried to explain the agreement that Expedia had confirmed with the hotel, she repeatedly interrupted me and stated that she didn’t care what Expedia had said because “Expedia doesn’t run the hotel.”

No hot water

Be careful. They will charge your credit card for no reason. This happened to me multiple times.

The hotel is very nice and has an excellent location; it is a shame it was undergoing renovations. I think guests should be accommodated in the area not currently being renovated. The pool needs maintenance, and the gym is missing equipment and requires maintenance.
-
Good everything was fine closer to the end of checkout. There was a pest problem. Small roaches were appearing in bathroom and kitchen. Everything else was great.

Had to stay other night at the same hotel. Paid same price for degraded room, room wasn’t ready by the check-in time, the concierge didnt care about room being not ready by the check-in time. Had to wait 40 mins to check-in. No apology. The room had outlet on the lamp and cannot fit multiple charger.

First room 629 had roaches. Got put in another room hotel is out dated. Needs a upgrade badly . Had a food buffet cant take food to your room like other sonesta. Never will return .

They are in the process of doing renovations so it was a bit noisy throughout the night. I stayed in a suite and the tub was a bit dirty and it had a awkward smell throughout the hotel. The pool floor was dirty and the hot tub was closed and the feee breakfast buffet for the suite was very limited but ok! I’ll rate this hotel at 6/10

A crappy hotel in Duluth, GA. Was supposed to get a king bed with balcony, but didn't get it. Hotel is very old and it's quite loud, called the front desk several times because of the next door room. The gym was dirty and only one treadmill worked. Breakfast was okay, nothing special
