Polite staff, clean room and great breakfast

Me, husband and fur baby travel quite often. We always try to stay at Hampton Inn. This was the WORST Hanpton Inn we have EVER stayed at. The grounds were very unkept and the rooms were definitely not up to standards. The tub looked 100+ years old, dust balls in every corner of the room, carpet looked filthy and the linen was sooo flimsy. On top of all this, the wifi was down the entire time we were there. NEVER AGAIN!!

Second stay here and second time our room wasn’t ready when we arrived for check in. Was finally given a room but there was no body wash or shampoo (glad I always bring my own). There was a big bloody looking handprint on the wall next to an adjoining room door. Definitely not something you want to find! Elevators are extremely slow and the halls smell musty and zero air conditioning in the halls.

Clean room and helpful staffs

The staff was so nice & helpful. The breakfast was soooo good.

Toilet paper holder was broken, no kleenex in holder, I had a room with balcony but door would not open, tub had hair in it although room was supposed to be clean. Coffee maker did not, but was replaced by staff when made aware. Room was cleaned after my second day. A roll of paper towel and a box of kleenex was placed on counter still in wrapping and not placed where they belonged. Beds were also made on the second day but sofa bed was not.

The only downside was the A/C units—they're very loud. We were initially in room 403, and I woke up every time the unit kicked on. I barely slept, woke up with a headache, and honestly felt so miserable I considered switching hotels. Thankfully, the staff was incredibly understanding and empathetic. They let me check out a few different rooms, and we ended up moving to room 222. I was finally able to get a good night's sleep. If you're a very light sleeper like me, I'd recommend asking for room 222—although maybe leave those quieter rooms for us light sleepers! My husband, on the other hand, slept through everything. Overall, we had a great stay, and the excellent customer service more than made up for the initial issue. I'd definitely stay here again.

Property is a bit tired. A/C control wouldn’t work, shades were stuck partially open, no conditioner in the shower, and had a small black ant problem in the room.

The breakfast buffet was okay and the children liked the waffle maker. Calling the desk or another room didn't work - you only got the operator who could not tell you how to call another room. Or the phone would just ring and ring and ring. All in all, I can say that the hotel pretty much left us to take care of ourselves.

From checking in to getting the information, all was excellent. The front desk lady, Laxia( not sure exactly) was so friendly but professional.

The hotel was nice. It’s little worn but clean. Like the size of the rooms. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Only issues were the pipes started rattling when showering. And one late night around 11 pm we wanted some snacks and didn’t want to go out. My husband and daughter went down to Lobby to get some but were told no the system was down till 1am. My husband asked can you just log down what we get and charge to the room when it comes back up and they said no like it was to much trouble. So that was a little disappointing.

My time there was good rooms was OK. Staff was OK. Love the breakfast. My kids enjoyed the pool. Wasn’t that many people in it at the time and it was in a good area.

The hotel was inexpensive but what I’m realizing in the Atlanta area with that phrase “you get what You pay for” held true with this property. From the moment you walk in and the automatic doors opening with a bang noice to stop themselves, I should have realized something was off. After waiting forever to go up just 1 floor by elevator, it took an extremely long time at 9:30pm Sunday for the elevator to pick us up. The inside of elevator is very worn out. As we exit the elevator to the 2nd floor, we were greeted with a terrible odor, couldn’t place it at first. Just wanting to escape it by going to our hotel room. We were tired, went to adjust the window shades for privacy and the floor below the window and AC unit was soaked. Called the front desk to tell them what our room condition was and you could barely hear the front desk associate who I think was mumbling on the terrible phone. So tired, I hung up phone and we all went to sleep and we had an early day next morning. Next morning arrives, and I go to ice machine maker on 2nd floor. The ice room area is gross. I attempt to get ice and there’s nothing coming out even though you can hear the motor buzzing as if it’s working. Then I realize the wretched smell on the 2nd floor is coming from that room. I didn’t see anything but it smelt is if something was dead. Needless to say did not get any ice. The best part of our stay was that we were leaving knowing that I would never return to this property ever again.
