Sonesta Simply Suites Atlanta Gwinnett Place

The room has bugs. There were baby roaches in the bathroom. I killed many bugs in the bathroom. I informed the staff about it and they were sending a guy to come and spray the room. He didn’t come on the first day. I told the front desk and she states he came and he didn’t. Then I told them that the bugs were still there. She sent a guy another day and he came when my boyfriend was taking a shower. He had the latch on the door. He heard a noise and saw someone using a hanger trying to break in the room! He opens the door and it is the guy coming to spray! He told him to come back later and not try to break in the room! I also informed the manager. She just shook her head. They finally came and sprayed about two days later. We checked out today and this morning I killed some more bugs. It was awful!

Functioning kitchen

Very good

I loved my time here, very friendly staff!

The staff were great throughout my stay. The room was clean and tidy. Though the bed was a little stiff and bumpy, it was not completely uncomfortable. My overall stay was pleasant enough to warrant another stay if I’m ever in the area again and need a hotel.

Nothing

Average service still satisfied

Superb

This building needs to be completely renovated. A/C unit does not work properly.

The whole trip was very nice staff and hotel

Nothing Mainly, the entire hotel smelled strongly of sewage—the odor even seeped into my room, and it was horrible. The toilet had a leak; every time it flushed, water would spill out from the base. Even more importantly, I had paid for a "suite" featuring a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a regular bed—as shown in the photos—but that isn't the room we were given. The room we got had only one bed; there was no sofa bed at all. I am surprised that, despite being put in a smaller room, I was never refunded the price difference between the two room types.

Danielle is great and helpful

I didn't get breakfast, and I love the location. Ideal. I was having a little problem with my A/C unit. But the kindly wonderful young lady at the front desk, who greeted me on Friday 8/21/26, at about 6:30 or 7:00 pm, came and help me out with figuring out what was happening with it. She was great and courteous, very welcoming and professional.

Exceptional

The staff was nice and very helpful but the room could’ve been cleaner. We did see roaches in the room. I wish they cleaned the rooms a lot more frequently than every seven days especially when you have a kitchenette. It should be a lot more frequent at least trash pick up there is no bathroom counter top, which was weird but parking is nice. I don’t think I would go back, but it was just OK.

Yes. Quite clean room and good kitchen. Free laundry room. 24hr. But too old TV and bathtub water drain is no good.

Great service and good staff
