Hot tub and slide were closed and no body wash in the room.
-
Great disappointment not to have hot tub & slide because that’s why we booked at this motel. Towels were great!

Overall stay was ok but we most likely won’t be staying there again. The room was fairly clean overall but could have been better. The USB outlets in the room didn’t work and the bathroom didn’t have a fan so there was moisture damage in shower and the floor. The water slide was closed again, second visit this has happened as well as the hot tub which we didn’t know until we checked in. And they increased the pet fee by $20/pr night to now $50/night which is crazy!! The breakfast was good as usual. They don’t have enough parking so we had to park in the restaurant parking lot next to it.

Not attending the request and not maintaining all amenities as promised.
-
The beds were horrible to sleep on, very hard, which was surprising for how expensive the room was, close to $310 per night. All shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were mounted in the shower but all were completely empty. The next morning an a cleaner attempted to get in the room multiple times because their “system” showed that we had already checked out. We were actually still sleeping at that time. I do not recommend this hotel and will definitely not go back.

Overall just ok.

Staff was very helpful and rooms were clean.

Location is close to Walmart, and not far from several fast-food restaurants, but it's a ways from Canal Park and the other "tourist traps" Duluth has to offer. The smoke from the fires in Canada and Northern MN was not bad at all, but we stayed only a few days, right after a pretty heavy rain. The A/C unit in our room seemed to be on a timer, we were cool when we went to bed, but it was much warmer when we woke up in an uncomfortably hot room. The sink in the good sized bathroom was slow to drain, but it did drain, and there was plenty of hot water. Not a bad stay, but not our first choice for future visits either. There was a very nice fire pit outside the front entrance, and noise was kept to a minimum during our stay. Breakfast on Monday was less than great, with egg patties that had a rubbery consistency. The rest of the breakfasts were pretty good. House keeping was limited to once every 3 days, and only if requested. Toilet paper and towels were available if you asked at the front desk.

Food and parking were fine. Room was great.

Staff was very helpful and breakfasts were great. Pool was closed 1st night we were there. Had ti be cleaned before it could be open. They did send us to another hotel closeby where we could use that pool.
-
The rooms we reserved were not available. Staff upgraded us to two different rooms. One room was good the other had a portable A/C unit. Upon entering the room it was 79*, fridge was brand new but still had all the packing inside yet. Hot air was coming in the window due to poor sealing around the portable A/C unit. Staff said no other rooms available Due to wild fires. Gave us a box fan to help with room temp. Due to this and the wild fire smoke we woke up to very strong smoke smell in the room. Room seemed like it was unusable but they tossed it together to give us a room to use since our reservations were not met. Staff did what they could but I don't understand how our reservations were not available. We made reservations well in advance for pool and pool slide and when we arrived pool slide was not working. Never received a notification of this.

Unfortunately one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was to relax in the hot tub but it was closed
-
The pool and hot tub were closed, the only reasons we booked at this hotel. Our room was filthy, and the front desk worker was less than friendly. We had stayed her several times in the past, but it is no longer maintained like it used to be. It was a throughly dispointing stay.
-
All around great place to stay! Well maintained, friendly staff, fresh breakfast with many options and free parking. We will be back.
-
At first look it was great till We had bed bugs in are room. Then other room the bathroom sink was flooded and faucets was broken. The staff thats was there move us and said the manager was going to talk to us NEVER seen him. The pool and the hot were out of order. The breakfast they said they had was gone staff could keep up too many people and not enough food.
-
It was very busy, but well managed
-
We booked this hotel because of the water slide however when we got there we found out it was out of order and had been for a month. Needless to say we had a very disappointed child.
-
Was disappointing the pool and spot area were unavailable.
