La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Duluth

I am a hotel snob! This was my first stay at LaQuinta and I was VERY pleased! First impressions are everything to me and I was impressed at the get-go! The service was very professional, beds were extremely comfortable and CLEAN! The breakfast buffet was top notch… Scrumptious! I will seek this hotel out in the future!

We were a bit disappointed that the coffee was very weak. We also wanted to sit in the hot tub but it barley had any water in it. Usually this is our go to hotel but will not be back to the one in Duluth.

Shower pressure sucked

Had a large family with a suite stay for 4 nights. Disappointed mostly with housekeeping staff as room was never emptied of towels, nor was trash emptied. Over that many days, you can imagine how many towels and waste piles up. It seems that the practice nowadays is to do nothing with the rooms until the guest checks in/out. We talked to the front desk staff on several occasions. Usually to request more towels since they were never taken out of the room nor restocked. The one younger gentleman at the desk in the evening mentioned that he would put us down for a "freshen up" the next day (probably our 2nd into 3rd day of the stay). There never was a freshen up and trash was never taken out. It is disappointing to pay so much at a place like this and not get essential services during the visit. The pool was also either low stocked on towels or none whatsoever (which meant asking for more almost every night). These are easy fixes but the staff has to be retrained to think and operate this way. Obviously if we stay somewhere this long, towels and garbage need to be attended to. No brainer but apparently it doesn't work that way here. Stayed at this La Quinta several times. This was the worst by far.

Room was ok for for stay but water was cold for the shower. Reported twice, but unfortunately no change in the water temperature. Breakfast room was busy & food items not replaced as required.

elevators were blocked, floors were very dirty, at one point our room door was blocked by a TV and it took 10 minutes to get a worker to move it, fold out bed mattress was stained, asked for towel removal, didn't happen, tried to call front desk-no answer-went down to front desk-no one there

This hotel has a bit of age on it. It is in good condition considering that. The bed was hard. Everything else was average; nothing shone. Would probably look at other options.

WiFi should have used a password - for general security

The room was clean. The kids loved the pool. Also had a couple claw machines in the pool area which was cool. Breakfast was also good. Definitely will be staying again when we visit duluth.

I appreciate the clean room, quiet area, and convenient parking. The breakfast are usually good except for my last stay on June 18 to 19. The eggs were dry.

I would like to say I lost my personal item cost $70 dollar I keep calling them they don't give me clear answer I'm very disappointed

Be warned, the "queen" beds are fulls in this hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable, person at check-in was extremely helpful, and breakfast was ok. Appreciated pool with hot tub and laundry facilities.

Room was clean and nice size, walking shower. Breakfast was born basic. Again I paid for 2 queen and got 2 doubles. Area was quite.
