The rooms are clean and spacious with all modern amenities. (Note: Our room could have used a clock, some cups/glasses in the bathroom and extra hooks for hanging wet towels. Minor inconveniences.). WiFi is fast and free with a Marriott Bonvoy membership (free). They offer a wonderful, reasonably-priced, all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and they have a nice bar. Overall, the lobby is a very comfortable place to be. This hotel is a five-minute walk from the Durham Farmer's Market, which occurs every Saturday throughout the year. The Market is an absolute gem! The staff is friendly and helpful and they ensured that our stay was pleasant. Big Thumbs Up! Summarily, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Everyone from the car valet to front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. Having a Starbucks in the lobby was also incredible.

Only complaint is that the AC in the room smells awfully moldy. They need to have their HVAC serviced. Otherwise, very quiet and clean.

The convince to the Carolina theater and the bed was very comfortable!

This is a wonderful property and we enjoyed our stay. The only reason we gave it a 3/5 overall, is because they surge priced or the Duke Reunion window and it was quite expensive for what we received (ie. 2 nights for a double occupancy was $500/night and this is not a $500/night style hotel).
