Excellent hotel, nothing else to add!

Ever heard of the saying, lipstick on a pig? That was this hotel. There are holes in the wall, paint all over the rugs, the outlets and USB charging ports would push into the wall if you tried to plug something into it. If you were able to plug anything into it after just a short few minutes that charging plug was very hot to the touch. I took a shower. The showerhead was coming out of the wall. The appliances are held on by screws that are coming out of the wall. The bathroom was filthy, there were stains all over the couch and the rug, and the air conditioner did not work. It is very very hot in this room. Overall, I am not sure if this is hotel is undergoing renovations, but if that’s true, they should never have let us pay to stay in that room. I also overheard the front desk woman to say to her colleague that it was “slim pickings” due to lack of housekeeping.. The breakfast was fine. Nothing amazing but fairly typical for a free breakfast . The area that you would eat in was not planned well and very difficult to navigate. The only reason I did not give this zero stars is because the parking was free. They have no pool, but when I booked this, it still showed on their webpage. Overall, not a great place to stay and I would not recommend it

Excellent stop over when traveling with family. Nice and open plenty of tvs in the lobby area to hang. Room was a nice size and breakfast was great as well. Staff very nice and friendly whould for sure stay here again.

Great property. It was actually a joy to overnight at this property!

However, we were not as happy with our room. We arrived later than check-in and although the hotel’s website indicated it was renovated recently, this did not include the two rooms we were given. Although I had requested a higher floor and quiet room I received a lower floor above the patio and electrical unit which droned all day and night. Apparently the hotel was at capacity and we were given the last room which had a faulty light in the bathroom. When I called for maintenance they had no one on staff to fix it and offered a 2nd room beside it? It was not well maintained - stained carpets, shoddy carpet tape, holes in washroom wall not patched up, shower soap dispenser holder not replaced, stains around toilet, bedding that did not fit mattress and we were forgotten when we asked to have our room cleaned while away. Unfortunately, it all seemed we were not very welcome coming in later than check-in.

Rooms were great for the price and front desk staff was very friendly. The reason for a low rating is the pool was out of order and the bar closed really early. The bartender was not friendly and at 9:30pm for last call she told me and my husband we could only order 1 more drink but continued to serve others up until 10pm. Additionally, the included breakfast limits you to 1 omelette only which I have never heard of. I wouldn’t go back.

The pool closed was a bummer.

We stayed for the night and staff are all accommodating and helpful. The welcome drinks and the snack foods added the positive impression we felt! Breakfast buffet is particularly good. Room is so spacious too! We will definitely stay in your hotels in our future travels.

Highly recommend this hotel, having previously stayed at Double Tree down the road I was extremely pleased with our experience

One of the best facilities we have stayed at. Price, parking, clean, comfortable excellent wish we had made this our first stop. Thank you for being a great place to stay.
