DoubleTree by Hilton LAX - El Segundo

We had a great stay. We were set to arrive in Los Angeles after 1 in the morning but I was able to message the property and had approval to arrive later in the evening. The front desk staff were kind and attentive even when I needed to request extra towels or toilet paper . They were very helpful at answering all my questions about the area as well.

Rooms were not clean, food left on fridge and food on the floor. Room was really run down for a four star hotel. Did not meet my expectations. Everything was worn down. The showers were tricky to use and didn’t have great pressure. The elevator was awful we had to wait up to five minutes for it. If this hotel had a few things fixed it would be great.

The staff was the only good experienced quality about the hotel. There wasn’t much time to try the gym, restaurant, or pool but the room itself was a bit outdated and there was a large silverfish in the shower the second night. Also, having to pay for parking is a bit outrageous.

Room was expected to be cleaned and better maintained

I had many issues at this property, however, Larissa and Valerie were so helpful and nice. They both helped rectify the situation and I will be coming back to stay at this property.

Parking should be included at that price

The shower didn’t have barely any heat to it.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only downside was we had to wait 45min for the airport shuttle.

Staff was very helpful to help w it. The second roommate was clean, no odor, no mold. The front desk person was very helpful.

Comfortable bed good air conditioning but the elevators are always out of service the water in the bathroom ran all night the toilet would not flush and water in the sink would not go down the parking is expensive which is 35 a night that they failed to mention when booking

Hotel was relatively clean the night of arrival not too many issues. We were able to check in early. That wasn’t our issue. When we woke up in the morning and it was bright in the room we noticed what appeared to be mold in our sheets. Which we thought was absolutely unacceptable. The staff was unwilling to help and didn’t seem to think that it was an issue. They dismissed our concerns and moved on. The breakfast was extremely overpriced and underwhelming.

The tub did not drain while the shower is running. Terrible. Prices in the shop are ridiculous and unacceptable. $5.00 for a CAN of soda. No way!

Staff was incredibly helpful , wish they cleaned our room every other day , the whole stay we didn't get any cleaning service

The bathroom door was faulty that almost locked me inside. The giftshop items price are not shown at the shop and it was only billed as giftshop item in the invoice.
