DoubleTree by Hilton LAX - El Segundo

Great hotel near LAX. Only little issue is that when I requested parking, they issued me with a parking pass right away (great) but never mentioned the cost associated to it which was $35USD. Ouch!

The elevator panel was all off the wall with wires exposed. It was practically comical and unsafe. Rooms were dirty. Housekeeping is every other day. I had to change our own bed linen sheets. Mind boggling! Everything os charged even down to regular coffee during breakfast. Breakfast very expensive with small selection. I will not be coming back here again!!!

Bed sheets were dirty with stains and hairs all in the bathroom.

The staff was professional and they got us the room pretty quickly. The room was clean, but outdated.

The hot tub wasnt working. I got told that i can checkout at 1 pm complimentary because they didnt have any water from morning only to be charged extra for late checkout . .

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. Traveling can sometimes be exhausting, but from the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel was immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. Thank you for making my stay such a lovely experience. I hope to visit again soon.

The room is old and there were no towels even upon requesting multiple multiple times. We paid hundreds of dollars a night to reuse old dirty towels. They also cleaned the room once in our 4 night stay and the staff does not respond to calls or messages. The water was also shut down for 5 hours in the whole hotel during the stay, and there wasn’t enough parking to fit all guests.

Great place since it’s close to the airport and you have a shuttle almost every hour.

Clean room, but hotel ran out of toilet paper one night and twice front desk forgot to send to our room something we requested.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, making the process hassle-free. I also appreciated the transparency in pricing—there were no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was basically just wiped down not clean at all. Restroom was full of mold, my sock were black from walking inside the room. Tv had dry markings from what I assume some type of fluid and the comforter look like what appeared to be soiled lumps of fabric. It looked like mold when you picked up the comforter. Trash bins on the floors were always full. They served an exceptional breakfast but I would not recommend families stay there.

I really liked the gym, which was kept very clean and had very good equipment. They didn’t have a barbell, but cable machines with different handles. They have benches if you like dumbbell presses and variations. There are treadmills as well.

This was my 3rd time staying at this property and it’s starting to feel like home away from home. The 2nd visit was in January and it was absolutely terrible. We had to change rooms 2 times but staff was super accommodating which is why I rebooked. Will absolutely keep this property at the top of my list when visiting Cali. The location is neutral and safe. The price is right and the cookies stay warm

The air unit in the room constantly ran and was loud. The neighbors kept smoking pot.

The pool area was also poorly maintained. There were no clean towels available for guests, which made the experience frustrating. To make matters worse, I witnessed another guest asking the front desk for toilet paper because their room had run out, and the staff was unwilling to provide it. Seeing that happen made it clear that customer service was lacking. The breakfast is $25 a person they serve the exact same stuff every day in a row. Was hoping to have a little bit different variety they had gravy with no biscuits. Just the gravy. Pretty disappointed. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. Basic services like housekeeping, clean pool towels, and providing essential items such as toilet paper should never be an issue. I hope management addresses these problems so future guests have a much better experience.
