Breakfast isn’t free. Elevator down and takes forever. Dripping into pool

I originally booked the hotel for myself, but due to unforseen circumstances last minute, I had to bring my handicapped mother and my dog. When we checked in, I requested an accessible room and there were none available (I do not fault the hotel for this as I had not booked one initially, but it did make things more challenging). I was informed that the hotel was shutting down the day after check-out and that some of the floors had already been closed. I was surprised that I had not been informed and was skeptical of the service we'd receive. The front desk staff was still very kind, but the condition of the hotel was lacking: bar was closed, only one working elevator, no AC in lobby and the ceiling was leaking when we got there, faucet in room was broken, shower leaked, ice machine out of order, etc. In addition, due to the wildfire smoke, the festival we traveled for was canceled and we ended up leaving a day early. I asked if there was any chance of 1 night's refund, but because I booked 3rd party, they couldn't refund. I asked if they could return the pet fee instead, especially since the hotel was closing and the pet cleaning would not be necessary. They had to check with manager. Manager never responded to staff or returned my calls. I understand that my request was not normal procedure but neither was my experience. At least extend the courtesy of a response. Very disappointing.

Nice quiet area convenient parking comfortable room

Staff was very helpful, and the location was a plus, easy to access and many items around to drive to and enjoy

Extensive water damage throughout hotel Present mold in guest rooms Only one working elevator ( not inspected since 2022) Damage tile in shower Pool area was not well maintained
-
The entire facility is falling apart. Ceilings were water damaged and leaking and or collapsed on multiple levels. The elevator did not appear to have been inspected since 2022 and one elevator was not in service. Our room smelled of mold and sewage.

Clean room. More than enough parking.

Clean room friendly staff

I haven't seen a hotel this old, dirty, and run-down in a long time; the bathroom was as dirty as one you'd find at a train station in Africa. I'm speechless. This hotel, which was decent about 20 years ago, isn't even worth $5 today.

Very clean and nice rooms
-
Really dirty and dated. The staff was nice and helpful but it was just gross in there. My bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months and I felt really uncomfortable sleeping there. Convenient enough location to the airport but that's it
-
The issue I had was with them and they treated me as if I didn’t matter since I reserved my room through a third party.

A/C was not working properly. The room stayed warm
-
Hotel was nice, but if you want to tour Chicago stay closer. This hotel is an hour from all the attractions and activities
-
I love staying here. The staff were helpful and really nice. They have a fragrance in the hotel is very inviting
-
I stayed for three nights. I repeatedly asked the front desk staff for body wash, but they never provided it during our entire stay. The room was cleaned on the first day, but not on the second. Otherwise, we liked the studio king room we booked.
-
there is nothing near hotel, so I expected the hotel has a good food options and convenient store inside, but very little options only.

Limpio, equipado, el staff muy profesional.
