Elkotel - The Newest Hotel in Elko

I stay here often when I'm driving to California or to Reno from Idaho. I love staying here because it's quiet amd close to Wingers.

The room was recently renovated, clean and in a great proximity of the interstate, restaurants and casino sites.

We haves stayed here a few times now and have always found the hotel to be be wonderful. We will be back!

Hotel is tastefully remodeled. The TV has very limited channels but the basics were there. While dog friendly they gave a VERY limited area (10x8) of astroturf as a relief area. No real area to walk the pooch. The breakfast was no where near “highly rated”. Eggs texture was not good and the sausages were cold.

Very clean and comfortable. Nice staff, decent breakfast options. Liked that they had hot chocolate and herbal teas available in the lobby and not just coffee. Quiet even though it was fairly close to the freeway.

When I pulled back the sheets on one of the beds it had footprints on the sheets. There where white stuff on the table. The lobby looked amazing. Not so much for the rooms and the breakfast not so much. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

ELLIE AND FAITH WERE AMAZING. FRIENDLY,FAST,AND EFFICIENT. 5THE ROOM WAS GREAT, CLEAN, and HOT WATER WAS AWESOME. THE Mattress could use some updating but the decor was nice. Maybe bigger pillows. Thankyou. Also when we booked on Expedia we were shown the total should have been 105.00 ish and our receipt says 126.00 ish? Hoping it will adjust out.

Thoughtful to have dog biscuits at the front counter. Clean room with hard floors which always feels cleaner than a hotel with a carpet, I seek these hotels out. Quiet. Breakfast was a nice inclusion. It is not gourmet but it will definitely get you on the road. Appreciate being able to have hot tea/coffee at off hours/evening. Works best to walk your dog west to the corner of the block where there is grass, since the hotel has mostly just parking. Convenient to groceries across the street and can microwave a dinner/has refrigerator. It's a perfect overnight spot as you travel onward. Have stayed a couple of times and will stay again.

This is a well used hotel and the bathroom floor shows the wear, tear and poor cleaning. There also is no luggage rack in the room and we were told one is not provided.

Overall, a great hotel to stay in! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is pretty cool; lots of neat decorations and a fun vibe. The room was pretty clean, plenty of towels and toiletries, and a funky fresh decor. The bed was on the firmer side, which I personally don't mind, but something to consider. The TV had some issues, but we didn't really need it, and that may not be the case in all of the rooms. The location is decent, and it's a short drive to the downtown area and restaurants. Getting downtown is definitely walkable too (less than 2 miles), but the hotel is on a busy street, so also something to consider. Overall, the hotel is updated, fun, and has incredibly friendly staff, and I would recommend it over other hotel options in Elko. I have stayed in a couple other places, but if I am ever in the area again I will be staying here.

Ellie at the front desk was wonderful! She was very polite and professional! When I checked in, she even remembered me from my earlier phone call and made me feel very welcome. Great representative for the company!

Wonderful stay. AJ Staff / front desk was friendly, helpful,👍❣️Room clean, comfortable, AC and easy parking able to see our van from room window🤗. Breakfast had a variety of choices including waffles you can personally make yourself. A perfect location, quiet, across from grocery store , restaurants, shopping center outskirt of town.
