Motel 6 Elko, NV

Check in was easy and quick. Room was ok. Pet friendly.

Been there before, great location, dated facility, too much overnight noise from the parking lot

Next it was the swimming pool. It was empty. Bone dry. I booked this hotel based on the pool availability. I was told they were having issues with the filter. We almost moved hotels because of this. The children of the owners were running around upstairs on the balcony, and in the parking lot. I will never stay here again.

Comfortable bed, no clock, lights by bed didn't work

Updated rooms. Friendly staff and great location for shopping,dining and I-80. Not sure if it was because baseball playoffs was in town and high traffic was the reason, but the grounds were unkempt this time around. The pool that was filled just a few days prior was empty again. I will chalk it up to unruly guest. There were some staying at the time that had no respect for other guests as they were loud in the walkways and back parking lot.

It's ok for the price. Elko smells like cigarettes.

Everything was perfect for me!

Only 4 stars for amenities and facility upkeep. I can see they are trying to keep it clean. But the trash where guest BBQ in the back parking lot is yucky. And the amount of dog 💩. 😝 around the area👎 It would be nice to have an area of enclosed grass for my dog, but I'm sure the poop would make it unusable. I will stay again, bed was comfy!

Room was clean, price was reasonable

When I checked in, they required a $100. After I checked out, they charged my credit card another $100 saying I did damage to the bathroom door which I did not. The damage was there when I checked in. Never thought they would say I did it. I’m still trying to get them to return my $200.

Having stayed at many other Motel 6, I was very surprised by how clean and comfortable this particular motel was. staff were constantly cleaning in and around the property. A/C blowing out nice cold air, big tv, modern and I love the fact they used soft lights for their lamps instead of those awful bright white ones. I appreciate they let pets stay free, and it is free just be a responsible pet owner. Nice clean pool. Yes I will definitely be staying here again and again.

I checked in on my return mainly because they didn’t return the $200 deposit from my previous trip. This time my room had (4) different bugs in it & a sink area wasn’t clean. I took pictures/videos & went to the front desk to check out & request a refund. I’m still trying to get refunded. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Room was extremely clean! Everything in the room worked perfectly TV remote microwave refrigerator sure thing was great. Bathroom was excellent… Pet friendly… All great places to see when I’m going back through this route I will be staying at this hotel went in the area and time is appropriate.

Another quirk about that room was that the water lines for the shower were reversed, so if you set it to hot, you'd get cold and vice versa. This can be dealt with once you figure it out, but the light in the shower was really dim. Although there was soap in the bathroom, there was no shampoo or conditioner - so if you didn't bring any of that with you, I suppose you're expected to wash your hair with a bar of soap. All things considered, I would not stay in this particular Motel 6 again.

Property was fine,the room was clean. When I first walked in the room the smell of mariuana was very strong and unavoidable.

Motel 6, pet friendly helps stay on budget, and people on a budget dont expect luxury, but clean and everything working is just fine.

The soap was terrible, there was no breakfast available, and the property lacked many of the amenities we expected, including a pool, hot tub, and basic shower supplies. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I would not choose to stay at a motel ever again, let alone a Motel 6. Everything charge so much for a room should have at least soap and breakfast.

It is a great location right off the highway. The rooms were clean and it was quiet.
