We’re no linens and had to get a different room. Building is old and could use some upkeep. And the courtyard needs attention. It was worth the price for a good nights sleep.

The Room: Gaps in wall/Power outlet, air conditioner didn’t blow cold, windows dirty ( inside and out), pipes screamed when shower turned on or toilet flushed. Outside spiderwebs everywhere doors/windows, corners, paint old, hallway smelled musty and had dirty walls. Parking was dark, back alley feeling.

Near the freeway Run down, over priced, it has a frightening vibe to it.

Stayed here for a concert @ the gorge. When we arrived there was a sign on the door stating no early check in, which we understood, being that it was fully booked the night before. What was not great is that when check in time came around there was no order for checking in. Ourselves & a bunch of others were waiting in the lobby waiting for an announcement that it was time to check in. No announcement came & a few people who had just walked in were checked in. It would have worked better had the front desk people had a sign in sheet & when it came time to check in they called us up in order, IMO. The room itself was fine, bed was pretty comfortable, everything was clean. We would probably not choose to stay @ this hotel when coming over for a concert, but maybe for other trips. Price was affordable.

Air condition didn't work and pool was run down

If you are uptight about cleanliness I would skip this place. It definitely wasn't dirty, but it also wasn't pristine. I was there with my dog, so assume I got one of the shabbier rooms, but there were also things they'd skipped over cleaning. It's a funky old place in need of work, and humidity builds up because of the older air conditioning units, some rooms lacking venting fans, and the pool. If a humid environment an some of what comes with it bums you out; this is not the place for you. On the other hand, humidity in Ellensburg, in summer? If I'm honest I didn't mind; felt like a balmy tropical vacation to somewhere more exotic, albeit lowbrow. Also fridge and a/c were loud, if that's a concern. In conclusion: it ain't the Taj Mahal!

The carpet in the hallways was stained and dirty.

Room was semi clean but bathroom facia was rusted. The grounds were overgrown with weeds, the pool was dirty. There was only one luggage cart and it was broken. Morning employee was doing arts and crafts at the front desk. The exterior of the building was in need of paint and signage was very faded and run down.

We were not informed of this when booking We will never stay there again
-
The location was good, you could walk to places to eat The facility needs some updating, the carpets are old

The staff were helpful with our cancellation request that didn’t get done through booking.com First room had no running water in the shower. Moved rooms but the sink was plugged, tap leaked and air conditioner didn’t work in 40 degree weather. Had to grab a fan from the hallway because the maintenance person went home. Door don’t close properly garbage behind the bed.

Room fine once in room. Facilities are definitely worn and need some upgrades.

The staff at the front desk were trying their best, but were completely overwhelmed. The general manager needs to support their team especially on concert or graduation weekends. It was completely unfair to the employee who was fully trained to be left wish a brand new hire while trying to check in 200 people. The hotel is incredibly dirty! We arrive early, 15 min before the 3 pm check in time to be told that they did not have our room ready and would be another hour, in addition to this they did NOT honor military discount which I called ahead to confirm that they would honor. It seems that white fuzzy stuff lines the corners of the rooms, it is my sincerest hope that it is just months of dust build up and not mold.

The staff were just trying their best but were not supported for how many people were there Dirty, they didn’t have our room ready at check in, didn’t honor military discount which we called ahead about to confirm two months ago.

Decent breakfast. Room needed multiple repairs.

The property is in such a state of disrepair it is falling a part. Bathroom door did not shut, shower leaked, a damp smell in hallway and the room with drying fans blowing continuously. Paid to stay in an absolute dump! Red Lion and Orbitz should be ashamed!

Location was good Very old need’s updating. Room was very uncomfortable very hot the A/C was not working I had to buy $45 fan in order to sleep. The breakfast was not good. I asked for someone to come look at the AC no one came. Ask for more towels was told they have a shortage of towels.

The staff were very kind, especially the housekeeping staff. Check in was easy. This hotel is on its last leg. The exterior of the hotel is terrible. The rooms are tired, poor upkeep of paint, doors, etc. Our bathroom door would not close.
