Hampton Inn White Plains/Tarrytown

Outdated and dirty rooms, unhelpful and useless staff. Absolutely terrible and disgusting stay

Decent stay but property could use a renovation.

We originally booked because of the pool. It should be updated that the pool is not just under renovation but no longer in use on Google. The carpet in the rooms could use a deep clean for the smell. Break

This property was very unclean and smelled of smoke everywhere. Especially in the room and we asked for a non smoking room but the room still smelled. The hotel is outdated. It was a very bad experience.

Buckets in the hallway catching dripping water from missing panels in the ceiling - not a good look.

The bathroom was so dirty, we had used towels just refolded.

There was no microwave in the room and no working coffee pot

We arrived at the Hampton Inn last at 4:10 for check in but their systems were down and couldn't get us checked in or a key. The front desk person Christine was super nice but things were not working. She did try to give us a room manually but it was disgusting so we are switching to another hotel and needed to get a refund for this stay. We also found out the pool was gone since 2 years ago so Hotel's website info is out of date.

The only negative of our stay is that the refrigerator was very noisy all night. I believe this is because the ice box was completely packed with ice in the ice may have been on the thermostat.

Overall it was a good experience..

There was a free breakfast but it was lacking in effort. No fresh fruit, or yogurt. Overall, I think for the price, the room should have been in much better condition and the breakfast would need some improving (at minimal cost).

Very quick, efficient, and friendly check in! Very clean room! Love the bed, quality bedding and pillows. Love the bathroom amenities- full size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hairdryer, and quality towels. Great breakfast selection! I have absolutely nothing negative to say. 5 stars for everything at The Hampton Inn in Elmsford New York!!!

The staff was friendly.

People staff were nice but was not that clean

The hotel was in a good location, there were open pipes leaking on buckets through the hallway which is weird and the remnants spilled on to the floor which they didn’t even try to clean but the rest of the hotel was clean as were the rooms. The breakfast ok and I liked that there was a hot coffee and tea station available at all times in the lobby.

The hotel system was also down and they could not give us keys and asked that we wait to be let in to the room. Check in was mayhem. Customers were all on their cell phones trying to cancel reservations since nothing could be done at the front desk. Do not stay here.

This is an older property. We literally just slept there and left. The bathrooms are old and need to be renovated. Parking was fine. Good location. It is near a mobile/dunkin location. The bed and pillows were fine. It is not the Ritz but it met our needs.

Stayed here for one night on our way north to Canada, overall positive experience. Staff was friendly, the hotel lobby and hotel room were clean, breakfast was simple but nice. The parking lot area (free parking) was a bit sketchy and the outdoor pool was covered and out of commission despite it being mid July. The town of Elmsford was cute and quant. If you’re looking for a clean/easy spot to stay overnight, this hotel did the job… but was slightly more expensive than it should’ve been.

It was OK.

Staff was great. Pool was closed. Outside parking area in need of maintenance.
