Best Western Escondido Hotel

We had a great time staying at this hotel. It was beautiful. The pool was warm that it was amazing and breakfast wasn’t too bad.

Whenever I’m in this area, I typically stay at this hotel. It’s conveniently located right next to the freeway and near family and gas stations, etc. However, this last-minute room check-in had me on the first floor and there’s definitely a drain waste venting issue in that room. It appears that the staff and or property manager is aware of it because they had an odor neutralizing tub of OdoBan next to the toilet. It doesn’t work. I will more than likely call the hotel as they usually only have one staff member at the desk and they typically stay in the back part of the office until someone comes in. It won’t keep me from staying there again, however.

The property was very clean and had lots of useful amenities.

Property is in need of renovation. It gives the feel of an old hotel and et entrance smell is not pleasant.

Everything was okay except that there’s is no control on the breakfast area

We enjoyed staying at this property. The place was clean, quiet and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and courteous. The included breakfast was very good and offered sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh waffles, fruit, muffins and more. We plan to stay here again when we are in town.

Clean room, friendly staff, no frills but comfortable. Breakfast can be rather crowded after 8 am. The food fills the belly but not healthy or nutritious items as you can expect. Coffee was good!

Took a trip to San Diego safari . Needed a hotel for 1 night . Slept at another best western and really liked it. This location isn’t bad but the hotel does seem outdated . Service was friendly check in was quick and easy . Definitely okay for 1 night .

The hotel was adequate. The bathroom smelled a bit from the sewage line, but it wasn't overwhelming. The breakfast was good, but should have gone until 9:30 or 10:00, because we WERE ON VACATION. There was no cleaning staff during the stay, although they would replace the towels if asked.

$40 extra fee to check in a few minutes early.

Nice place, comfortable atmosphere. One elevator, no gym, pool and hot tub spa. Washer and Dryer for your convenience. Fridge and microwave in rooms. Water flow is great in the RR, which is a plus. Staff are very good to you and clean. Me and boys had a great time due to all the staff here at this location. Breakfast was good each day. I really appreciate the smiles, the understanding everyone here does

The rooms are located inside the faculty. You have to walk into the main lobby and down the hall to access the rooms and elevator. Made me feel safe traveling with young kids. I was able to sleep in peace feeling we were in a safe environment.

Nice room

Very little service. You have to get your own towels. The pool was closed in June ! Soap dispenser was empty we had to ask for a refill. It's a nice building parking is terrible and like I said service is not much for the price. We won't be returning

Room was comfortable and clean. Front desk woman was very sweet and helpful. The breakfast offered many options that the kids and I were very happy with. We stayed here on our trip up to the San Diego zoo only about a 30 minute drive with traffic. It worked out perfect.

The best hotel

La habitación excelente. El aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien el refrigerador funcionaba bien y el microwave muy bien. Todo muy limpio y el desayuno. Excelente. Sin duda volveremos pronto.

Nice area. Very clean friendly staff. Good breakfast. 10/10 highly recommend
