Best Western Escondido Hotel

The hotel is outdated. The rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s very good situated for the i15 freeway. The reason I gave it that star rating was because there is bad odour in the hotel. Other than the smell i was reasonably happy with my one night stay.

Hotel was good for overnight or for a few days. The breakfast was very limited. It would be helpful if the was fruit or even fruit cups. Fellow travelers at the hotel mentioned the same issue.

The room was very clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay here again! Very convenient location!

Front desk check in was great. Would like tea as an option to coffee. I have never liked coffee. Tea in the room would be nice. Also at breakfast you need hot chocolate. One of the cleanest places that I have stayed at.

Everyone attentive and nice. Room needed updating. Told staff about torn curtains and responded that a refurbish was in progress. That was evidenced by new hall carpet.

Arrived at property after driving all day to get to San Diego. No water at this property; plumbing turned off for repairs. Can’t use the toilet or take a shower or wash your hands. Water turned on after 8 PM, but no hot water since the boiler was not repaired. Next morning NO HOT WATER! No manager on site, they don’t work on weekends, so no refund, no compensation because only the manager can authorize that. Poorly staffed to take care of this kind of crisis. Zero stars since property has not contacted me to offer compensation. No bathroom, no hot water, no stars.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We loved it

Overall the stay was fine. Clean rooms, decently maintained hotel, friendly staff. The parking lot is thunder dome. The lines are nearly invisible and the ones that do exist are super narrow so no one parked in any sort of pattern and loading/unloading was an issue.

How is it even legal to put car chargers in the handicap spots? Staff were extremely rude, difficult.

Hotel was nice and had everything you'd need for your stay, including a decent breakfast and well-kept outdoor pool that we enjoyed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was always available for our rental car. We liked the location for our stay and price was reasonable. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The bed pillows were not comfortable, but staff explained they received the wrong ones with their recent remodel, so I won't fault them for that. Overall a nice hotel with good amenities and wonderful staff.

We were in town for a tournament. This was a great spot for us.

Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. Pool was nice but chilly,kids don't mind.
