The room was okay. The bathroom is small with very low water pressure. Breakfast was your typical pastries and cereal. The only good thing is that it's located very close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance at Estes Park.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having coffee and a refrigerator in the room. My second floor room had windows that faced the front and rear of the property and the views were nice. I enjoyed seeing elk right outside the window. The breakfast was ok - quite a few choices; yogurt, juice, cereal, pastries, toast, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs & apples. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the outside of the building. It gave me a little bit of a negative first impression. The paint was worn, as were the carpets on the walkways. The cement and asphalt were lumpy, making it somewhat difficult to walk safely. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would stay again.

Very clean room. Property a little run down but met our needs.

Great location. Loved the view from our room. Staff was very helpful and kind.

This is not our first time staying at this hotel in Estes Park. The check in was great, no issues there. As for the property itself, there is a complete lack of any ground maintenance. We stayed in the "The King Suite", the last room at the end and located over the maintenance storage area. There was garbage piles everywhere. The room was dirty and very rough around the edges. The hot tub was completely out of order, the grounds were littered with trash and nails. I can understand that during peak season that rooms will be more expensive, but for $250+ a night, we felt we completely overpaid for our stay. Also, where is the health inspector for the pool area? The pool chemicals were in an unlocked shed with a broken door.

The Blue Door Inn was a very convenient location for everything we needed to do. The room was very clean and having a deck off of the back of our room was great. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. Staff were very nice. Some things were a little run down, but overall, it was a nice place to stay.

The lighting in the room behave strangely. The ceiling lamp turns bright for no reason. The bedside lamp turns off by itself. Other than the lights, the bathroom vent makes an intermittent sound that's annoying. Like the fan is scraping something.

The room had issues. Deadbolt did not work. Trash in bathroom behind door. However, the water pressure was great.

This was a sub par location. It was adequate and clean. The bed was better than expected, but the overall experience left us wishing we had stayed somewhere else.

Located in a wonderful spot where the elk herd comes through 2 to 3 times a week. You can watch the prairie dogs in the field from your room. The rooms are very clean. Our pet was able to stay for a fee.

The young man at the registration desk was amazing - friendly, efficient and helpful. And it's cool that the elk seem to love gathering here!

The room was comfortable and clean. Shower was nice and hot. Only one hanger was provided and some Chiel space for storage. We did like the hot breakfast each morning. They offered biscuits and gravy, eggs, danishes, cereal, apples, and a few other items. Very close to the main shopping area and quick access to RMNP.

It was an older inn. But everything was working and it was very clean. And the shower pressure and heat was amazing. So if you are looking for a basic clean place to stay that's close to the national Park. This place is great.. Also if you looking for a great breakfast spot. Go to The Egg. 5 minutes from the park. This place is awesome.

Staff were kind and coordinated a late arrival with us which we appreciated after our flight was delayed. We loved the breakfast each morning. The pool was very buggy the first day but was clean thereafter. Hot tub was out of service. Our room was simple but very clean. We would stay again! Views and location were great.

The room was even worse. The bathroom looked old and dirty, with loose hairs on the floor. When we pulled back the bed sheets, we found loose hairs in the bed as well. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned properly. I immediately spoke with the manager (who I believe was also the owner). Instead of offering to clean the room or move us to another one, he simply handed me one clean sheet. There was no apology and no attempt to resolve the issue. Because it was late and we had no practical alternative, we slept on top of the bedding and left first thing the next morning. This was a complete waste of money. I would not stay here again even if it were free. Save your money and book somewhere else. Expedia should seriously reconsider listing this property because the online photos do not accurately represent its current condition.

$30 for pet fee! The room was clean. Breakfast was good. There are safety concerns on the 2nd floor walkway! They used vinyl plank flooring that is Not made for outdoors. It is curling up causing a trip hazard. Also they attempted to screw down with screws sticking up!!
