Loved how cosy it was and clean. Felt very safe Make sure to get the top level rooms otherwise you can hear other peoples footsteps

The staff was exemplary but the amenities need to be vastly improved. Need a bar of hand soap, no cups in the room and in room coffe was instant.

This place is close to downtown and very walkable to everything. Our room was lackluster at best. No control of heat, low water pressure and you could hear everything upstairs and outside. The door had a 1 inch gab and left in the air and smells of the outside. Good place to stay if don't care about comfort or style.

Largest, hardest pillows known to man. Mattress uncomfortable. Neither of us could sleep with the pillows they were so big & hard. Called front desk: they had no other pillows to offer. Lots of road noise. A/C wouldn’t work because they had switched it to heat and it couldn’t be switched back. It was 77 that day. Didn’t have all toiletries in room. Deferred maintenance on exterior. Sacks of dirty linens on sidewalk all day & into evening. Dirty rags outside our door. Disappointed with Expedia rating on this hotel. We were to stay 4 nights. Checked out after 1 night.

Reservations for a 4pm check in were made in January. Arrive at 3:50 and told it could be another 30-45min. At 5:05 went back inside and was told the room was finally ready. Placed in a room that wasn’t clean, even though that’s what the holdup was for. Room did not have working air conditioner or heater. Dead bugs found in multiple places. What appeared to be a smear of bloody boogers by the trashcan in bathroom. Other people waiting to check in delayed for well over hour as well and then put into an occupied room and had to wait longer. Staff was not friendly to those waiting around and not in a private party for Backroads. Restaurant was closed for multiple days. Thought we were getting a cool experience and it was anything but. Will not stay here again even though I’m good location.

Although the staff were very helpful and friendly, I would probably not stay here again. Our room was fairly clean except the floor that wasn't swept or cleaned. The heater wasn't working properly.

Great location across the street from the free trolley, but we walked the short distance to town without issue. The staff were great and responded to any questions. The bed was comfortable. Towels nice. The room had an overpowering scent of bleach when we arrived. We got used to it but we almost asked for a new room. To make matters worse, there was a spot on the floor where a sticky substance had been spilled right next to the bed. The walls are quite thin so you hear your neighbors.

The lodge is in a good location and the reception area is nice, with areas to sit and relax The bed was not made up correctly. They use the 3 sheet and duvet method, but were missing the middle sheet. I had to sleep in direct contact with the duvet. I did not discover this until going to bed after 10:00pm and housekeeping was not available. When I talked to the staff about it, they acted like it was no big deal.

We also didn’t have any soap in our room, which was disappointing for a hotel stay. The front desk staff were friendly and pleasant, but I had a serious issue with billing. My card was charged three times for three different amounts, and now I have to spend time dealing with the charges and getting them corrected. The only real positive for me was the location, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, though, the location alone isn’t enough to make up for the other issues. I’m sorry, but I still would not recommend this hotel to others.

Room was spacious and clean. No wall decor or extra mirrors for large families. No microwave. Otherwise a nice stay.

Great location and very nice staff and loved ending our night with s’mores!!! For some reason we were given an accessible room with an “open “ shower which made showers interesting. Also, group tours gathered right outside of our room. I wish they had assigned the room to someone from the tour group.

They offer smores at the fire pit every evening. A nice way to unwind a chat with other guests. The room - The bare necessities. This is the first place I've stayed that didn't have an ironing board/iron in the room. They do provide toiletries. (shampoo, conditioner & body wash) The walk in shower was a pain. Every shower produced water all over the bathroom floor. When we couldn't get the air unit to work I went to the front desk. The attendant explained that they are all shut down this time of year (mid-September) because it's "too hot during the day and too cold at night". He did give us a box fan from the bar area though. Overall it is decent. Just don't expect anything above basic accommodations.

Beautiful space and location! The bed was amazing g - VERY comfortable. Two of the front desk staff members were great, above expectations and very friendly fly. No blow dryer available? How is it possible in this year? There was no cream when we went down for coffee at 9am. Very limited bar options.

Staff was not helpful or pleasant. Did not give any information when we checked in. There was a continental breakfast but we were not told about it when we checked in. No coffee in the room only tea. No microwave. No soap in bathroom. No ice machine was available.

Very nice hotel! S'mores available upon arrival was a fun treat! We didn't have time to sit at the bar, but it looked like it was a fun place for a drink to unwind. The outside sitting areas also looked very relaxing. We were in and out pretty quick, so we didn't enjoy the grounds much, but they looked very inviting! The room seemed newly renovated and was clean and comfortable. Will stay again!
