Hyatt Place Eugene / Oakway Center

We have stayed here numerous times over the years and have seen it going downhill now. Everything needs to be updated. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off. The bed was horrible. Broken down and they tried to add mattress topper to improve it which didn't help but only made the bed hot. The bathroom floor needed a good steam cleaning as well as the carpet throughout the hotel. Better yet remove and replace. The seating in the breakfast area needs replaced. I saw torn cushions and the chairs were broken in so much they offered no support. We will not be staying here until they get it updated.

Loved staying here. The lobby is on the 5th floor and took me a second to figure it out. The breakfast was really nice.

Exceptional

Excellent all around

Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Good location to airport.

Exceptional

A lovely hotel, conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and U of O events. Staff were so friendly. Enjoyed the hotel bar and outdoor patio.

Na

The hotel touted a rooftop or terrace with a firepit restaurant - however, it was just a bar with tables and you order food (with fairly limited options) from the bartender. The fireplace was not on and the ambiance was unwelcoming. The food was good but very pricey. I was really quite surprised and disappointed that a hotel with this name would be less comfortable than the Fairfield Inn we stayed at in Redding that was substantially cheaper. Hotel front desk, however was very nice and welcoming.

Exceptional

Great pool, beds were comfortable and had an excellent breakfast. Only thing is there was a questionable stain on our comforter. Front desk had it changed but seemed annoyed by the request then tried to explain it wasn’t a stain but that detergent melted on it. Either way, it shouldn’t have been used. Besides that, the hotel was nice.

Not so clean

It can fit 5 people for family trip. So I choose it. Not so clean

Great location near shops and restaurants. Room was clean and spacious. Rooftop area was nice too!

Front desk folks were very accommodating. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

We would stay again. Conveniently located and easy access. Being in Oakway Center gives good restaurant and shopping options too! Breakfast is a nice touch.

Superb

Breakfast was wonderful. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Food was hot, good, and varied. Parking, parking, and parking. Confusing.

It was a very clean and amazing room with a very helpful staff. The breakfast had great options for vegetarians.
