Everything was ok

We would recommend this property. I would give the staff more than 5 stars if I could. Carole at the front desk was awesome, restaurant staff was also. Rooms were very clean and updated where it mattered.

I will start with what was good. The landscaping was very pretty and the bed was very comfortable. Now for the bad. We were traveling with our dachshund so the front desk clerk said we would be put in the “pet rooms” Mind you, they already charged us an additional fee for our dog and had us sign a contract regarding the dog and fees that we would be assessed if he did any damage. This room was a mess. We were assaulted by the smell of mold the second we were able to shove open the door (it was old and off kilter). The floors were dirty and there was what looked like dried feces in various spots. There were several spiders and other bugs in the old, dirty, musty curtains. There were also spiders in the bathroom on the ceiling. The bathroom door was broken and the whole washroom was the size of a porta potty and just about as clean. There was a smoke detector, but it had a plastic bag over it. I can only assume that it didn’t work. There were two torn up old rugs on the floor for some reason. The truth is that if we would have been able to get a refund we would have left. We will never stay at another best western facility again.

Rooms were very clean. Love the decor

We were traveling with a large group, and the front desk was great about putting our rooms close together when we checked in. The bar karaoke was a great time!

The room was nice but had a weird smell. It was really warm so it was hard to sleep. The AC didn’t really reach all the way into the room. The breakfast was ok. We were told to find a seat after we got our food from the buffet and someone would come and take our drink order. So we sat down and started eating. No one came to take our drink order. I decided to go see if I could just get my own coffee, but the hostess told me someone would come and get our order. Finally, after we were finished, someone brought me a cup of coffee. I took maybe 2 drinks and we left. My husband never got anything to drink.

Work on your breakfast

Loved the fact that the rooms were away from highways and streets, fairly quiet except AC.

Room was exactly as expected for the price and location. We chose this hotel for the restaurant and bar on site. Pool and hot tub are pretty small for the size of the property and always very crowded so we couldn't take advantage of this amenity. Property is very well maintained, but rooms are dated, clean, but dated. Short drive to the Wyoming Downs and main street restaurants.

Super friendly and accommodating staff very clean, beautiful hotel, and probably the most maintained I’ve been to and the nicest! I would definitely stay here again if I was in town

Definitely not what it looks like in the pictures. This is a motel style property.

Even it is an old property, it is well kept. Quiet, accesible and very good breakfast.

Front desk woman was very brusque and borderline rude. She was there late when we checked in and when we checked out the next day. Perhaps SHE needs the vacation. We were sent to the absolute furthest property away from check-in--one for people with physical disabilities despite having none--and there plenty of other rooms available. No problem with the room itself (though you need a Ph. D to figure out the tv). I typically don't whine about lodging, but after staying in 23 different hotels and motels in 23 days, I feel quite comfortable saying that this woman made me feel uncomfortable.

Unusual historic hotel with spacious rooms.

This is a superb hotel that deserves a six star rating. Gorgeous landscaping. Breathtaking lobby. The best breakfast in all of the hotels we have been in for 20 years.
-
Well kept property. Rooms were clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice to have coffee maker , fridge and microwave in room. Complimentary breakfast was better than usual. Interesting layout of hotel, plenty of parking. Older property, a bit outdated but acceptable.

Second stay here! Always friendly and clean. Breakfast was great!

The Dunmar Inn is a nice motel and very comfortable. We would stay there again. The breakfast is pretty abundant and the hostess gave me a to-go box for us to take some fruit on the road.

Nice location and clean rooms. The staff weren't very friendly, and the customer service wasn't in line with the price.
