Super 8 by Wyndham Evanston

Old, floor in bad shape, smoke detector missing with wires hanging from ceiling, missing lightbulbs. Outside poorly maintained also.

Very old building that is not maintained. Dirty grounds, walls with holes on stairs, etc. went to check in, no one was there, had to call to have the person come over to check in. Wasn't very helpful in providing information. Room seemed clean at first but noticed stained blankets, dirty bathroom with cracked tiles, ants crawling around (decided to lock all bags in case there were other bugs), floor was not clean. Ice machine out of order with no one around to help you. Breakfast was grab and go with coffee, some granola bars, Rice Krispies, and little tangerines. Again, no one at front desk. Even had a sign that said no refunds after 30 min after check in - that says a lot (we went to dinner right after check in so didn't get to exercise this option). Didn't feel safe at night (kept checking on car to make sure nothing was wrong). Will never stay here (or any other super 8) again.

Terrible room - room stunk- (moldy smell and dirt smell) Air conditioner was VERY loud. No smoke detector (wires hanging out of the ceiling for it. Bathtub was full of mold on the edges. Totally disgusting room. We have traveled lots and been in many hotels. This was the worse ever!

Sink area had what looked like dried milkshake stains on the wall. But the room overall was clean.

It offered beds, sheet were clean, no carpet. That was about it.

It was a horrible room a hole in the bathroom wall no fire detector on the ceiling. Someone had tore it off.

The building is old and rundown. One of the rooms we rented did not have a smoke alarm. We brought it to the attention of the owner and all could say was oh yeah, the last guest brought it down.

Dirty room, had to go upstairs which was tough with my disability. I was surprised Wyndam had their name on it

Low compared to other super 8 motels

Nothing to like. Filthy. Bathrooms were very dirty. Expensive and unfriendly staff. I would not recommend it to even my enemies. Everything was dirty with rude staff and expensive.

Location and it was clean Not well maintained the stairs to go up to the second floor are not safe or secure the bed frame was on the floor the mattress was not comfortable at all there were burn marks on the bed spread - there was a large space under the door that adjoined the next room it allowed for zero privacy you could hear every word being said

The tile in the bathroom floor was all broken, big gap under the door, lock broke on the door It needs lots of repairs done

I'll never book another Super 8 in advance not knowing what you'll get.

The last resort!

Very tight parking spaces. Stairs were pretty unstable feeling. Toilet flush took its time. Uncomfortable bed. Quiet night, but I don’t plan to return. Needs work.

If you are a parking lot lizard the hotel might be ok! We waited 10 minutes for the owner/front desk person to come and give us a key to our room. We asked for a ground floor because there was no elevator, he told us no. The railing was wobbly and not adequate for support. The room smelled of mold. There was only one towel and no toilet paper. We left and stayed at the best western. Same price and a much better experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Able to park in front of room. Place is run down and room was in need of repairs desperately.
