Comfort Inn Evanston I-80

On the second day I requested more coffee and perhaps clean towels, as we were only given 2 and one had ended up on the floor. We were told at the front desk that they only clean after 3 days and there wasn't enough towels until they did their laundry in the afternoon. We began to wonder what exactly we paid for if they don't refresh anything until after 3 days. Sorry to say that we couldn't recommend this establishment.

It was a typical Comfort -- our room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and met our needs. But there needs to be new furniture in the lobby. The chairs were dirty and ripped up. But it was place that was convenient.

The double queen beds were fulls, which was totally disappointing. The back of the parking lot looked like a junk yard. The side entrance of the building was duct taped to stay open which I didn’t find very safe or secure. The room was clean and the beds were soft, so it wasn’t completely terrible. But for the price, I was expecting a lot better

The only problem during the one-day stay was that the TV service was out the whole time. The staff was very helpful in trying to restore the service and even arranged for a discount, but the service was unavailable during our entire stay.

Let's start with black mold in the bathroom!!! Toilet did not work!! Remnants of dog poop under the bed. Our shoes stuck to the floor. Oh...and the leak in the ceiling that dripped on the toilet. The lady who checked us in was very nice.

The room was clean and comfortable. Desk clerk was quite friendly.

Bed was OK, breakfast was good, didn’t use the pool, the desk attendant was very nice.

Floors were not clean, walked barefoot and our feet were black. Late arrivals were verbally arguing in the halls between 11-12 pm and management did not intervene..even if the manager was asleep it would have woke them up. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were rubbery. We had to ask for forks. Biscuits were cold as was the bread. For the price we paid, this was hiway robbery

It was a nice stop for one night. We were just passing through.

Staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, the pool was not usable during our stay. We had called ahead of our stay to make sure the pool was operable, and when we arrived, we were told that it was not going to be opened. The facility is old and needs repairs and a remodeling of many of the areas.
