Comfort Suites Fairview Heights - St. Louis

We had our AC not working for 2 days and no TV for days. We were asked to move to another room with more pathetic AC. We came back to earlier room. The breakfast was not refilled after 8:15. They are not stocked properly and same with coffee too.

In our room, there was a smoke alarm hanging from our ceiling, with wires, the pool looked really cloudy, we are a family of 5 and we need extra sheets and blankets but was told we where only allowed one per room. The breakfast was not good at all, powder eggs or something and the sauage was like cooked or shall I say microwaved, and oh there was cereal but no milk at all. The juice tatsted water down or something.

The first room we went into smelled horribly of mold. We went to the front desk and asked for a new room. It was just as bad! The carpet floors in the reception area and hallways were filthy. We left and found another place to stay.

The beds looked like the sheets was not changed. We was pulling long hair off us while sleeping. We went to breakfast at 8:24 . When asked why was not anymore breakfast out . I was told because it not anymore. I started that its. Not even 9am and Guest was still coming down for breakfast to come to nothing for us Guest to eat . The pool smells like dirty pipes mixed with poo. My family will not be back .

This hotel was awful. It was horrible. The hotel was filthy! Carpet was hideous! The rooms were spacious but not clean! There were no extra towels or blankets available. The pool wasn't available!

Dirty carpet even the hallway, ran out of food very early in the morning and they even cannot refill milk. Front desk is very cold and not helpful at all. Room smells very moldy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked for 2 rooms and both was 9/10 clean, the breakfast was 4/10, the pool -NA the exercise room look clean and the equipment worked 9.4/10 parking 10/10.. the only bad thing was it smelled really bad 0/10 from the lobby the elevator halls and rooms... yes this information was giving to the clerk at the door

The room was musty and damp floors wet. They didn't come and change linen even when I requested laundry exchanges. The free breakfast line was awful food dropping on everything. Everything else was booked up for me to leave.

Great price for a family room that slept 6 people comfortably! Staff was helpful and friendly.

Great place! Easy access to local shopping and restaurants.

Nice room good size location is good

The price was good and our room seemed to be clean. The rugs outside the rooms were dirty. The rug at the entry was noticeably frayed and the floor in the elevator needed to be replaced. The place definitely needed TLC. The coffee was good but there was no sweetener other than sugar. The food bar needed to be under constant care but was not. It appeared as though a dog had drug a bit of trash out of the trash can in front of the hotel and no one cleaned it up.

We only saw 1 employee during our stay, and it was obviously difficult for her to run everything efficiently. We were disappointed to have booked a room for 6 people and not have the room set up for 6 people. We had to make extra trips down to get towels and bedding for everyone. Additionally, the hotel does not have any pillows for use with the pull-out couch. There were not enough towels in the pool area even after asking the front desk for more. Our keys stopped working halfway through our stay and had to be reset. The breakfast was decent, but they did run out of milk, etc.

Pros: flushing toilet and hot water 15 drive from Union Station

Easy parking and friendly staff. There were bugs in the fridge but it was easily handled

Worked fine for a quick overnight stay while traveling through. Hotel is a bit dated and could use some work. Breakfast was pretty limited but adequate

The smell of the hotel wasn’t great and then the room was even worse. The AC was set to 62 so it was very cold. Everything was very dated and worn down. The carpet throughout seemed dirty
