Hilton Garden Inn Fishkill

Noticeable drop in cleanliness and general conditions. Stains on furniture and carpet in room. Wallpaper seams starting to separate. Spills in common hallways. Time for a refresh.

I had no idea it was gonna be so nice. It really looked upscale brand new and very clean and a very nice bar with a restaurant. The food was very good. The rooms are excellent. Overall 10 out of 10. Definitely staying there again.

What they generously called the “restaurant“ was nothing more than a breakfast nook. And breakfast was horrible. Pastries were too hard to eat, undoubtedly,old. $20 for what they call a full buffet, which is no different from what you get at a lesser hotel for free. $10 for the continental breakfast totally not worth it.

Nice hotel and location was convenient. Unfortunately the pool is under renovation until the end of September.

My room had a roach in the food and then I was blamed and charged for trying to leave and didn't offer any compensation would never stay here again

The Jacuzzi was not operating

The room was on the ground floor and very noisy with people being loud up and down the hallway.

It was a nice hotel. Great location, great staff. Unfortunately, for an honest review, I would have to divulge that the room smelled of cigarettes and carpeting was quite dirty. Otherwise it was a good comfortable room.

Construction was occurring on the property which we were not previously aware of. So not all areas were accessible. It was a holiday weekend and only one person at the front desk with a long check-in line. The clerk did the best he could. However, the key didn’t work for our assigned room. Back down to the front desk, wait on the long line. The key was reactivated and we returned to the room to find it was already occupied by another guest! Guess that’s why our key didn’t initially work. Back downstairs, waited on line again for our turn. The clerk said no one was supposed to be in that room and that he was trying to figure it out. I asked that he try to figure it out later and just assign us to another room. So he did. Entered that room and the AC was hardly working and the room was musty and humid. We turned the AC to as cold as possible and went to a friend’s room for a couple of hours. When we returned the AC was working well. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was getting late in the evening, I was tired, had a headache & we were in an area that just experienced a heavy storm. We were only there because of a carbon monoxide issue at our house, or I would have left. Unfortunately, I am never going back to that hotel and will never recommend it to others.
