HYATT house Fishkill/Poughkeepsie

Breakfast items were good except they kept running out of stuff and were slow to replenish. Staff did not speak English so was hard to communicate.

Older hotel Furniture was pretty worn out but it was clean. Walls are thin you can hear all your neighbors. Location was good and what we needed.

I love the Hyatt House chain the facilities are usually top-notch and the breakfast above most other hotel chains. The room itself was much smaller than other Hyatt House room types that we had the king suite with sofa bed and kitchen. The layout had the living area angled really weird where it was really tough to pull out the sofa bed where the TV was angled in a corner. The kitchen appliances appear older but they all worked to satisfaction. What I did not like it was even though I made notes for a lower floor close to an elevator we wound up on the third floor about a quarter mile from the elevator which made it difficult for my husband to walk with a cane long distances. Other than that the desk staff went above and beyond to try and accommodate us on a lower floor but after that and getting everything into the room on the third floor we didn't want to drag everything out to move to a lower floor at that point. The breakfast well good could not compare to other Hyatt House facilities we've stayed at particularly Hyatt House Allentown Lehigh Valley. I would give that one a 10 plus where at this location the choices were very limited and being gluten free there were hardly any options that I could eat.

When we arrived, the front desk was very busy. The attendant was very attentive to people as they walked in. She answered the phone and kept the line moving and was very helpful when we had questions about local places to eat.

Breakfast could improved a touch, offer more variety.

Spent the night after an event. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The bar could have used one more person. It appeared the bartender was trying to maintain both the kitchen and the bar. But overall he did a wonderful job and was kind, professional and courteous under not so great circumstances.

Convenient to supermarkets and restaurants Room was not cleaned properly. Didn’t appear things were wiped down nor vacuumed.

I was charged twice for the same room once from the app that I used. And then again when I got there.

Location is very good for my work as well as personal time after work I would like to use the Hot Tub / Sauna and Pool. Extended Times for them are always a plus

The place was very nice and the staff was great and the place was clean and the breakfast was good the place at the bar is not I associate.

Everything was clean and breakfast was good overcharging my credit card which was rectified.
