John Hotel

Nice place, Clean and good area

I loved the extra large fluffy white towels! They appeared new. Also enjoyed breakfast that included hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, & congee. I would’ve extended my stay but due to World Cup , the hotel had been booked.

Room was cute and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff person who helped us was super great and understanding and gave us a much better room our second night, and we were very grateful for the switch. Very clean and spacious, no odours and comfy.. The first room did not have a view at all and the air was not flowing well and room smelled of mildew.

The location was close to where I needed it to be For the cost I would expect slightly nicer rooms & accommodations

Next morning I looked for iron in the room and there was none. Called front desk and he said come and get it. Went to the front desk. The guy was tea rude and nasty. Normally I don’t write reviews but I felt this hotel deserved it. I would not recommend to anyone this hotel.

Exceptional

The hotel was good and the staff was amazing. They took care of all our requests with no issues. The location was great. We were next to Tangram mall and lots of excellent restaurants.

Overall stay was OK but could be further improved..,.AC in the rooms is BAD....not cold at all. Room ambience could be brighter with additional light.

Bon rapport qualité-prix. Toutefois, les confitures dans des gros bols à partager, c'est vraiment ordinaire pour le prix.

Ceiling was leaking water and the water dripped to our shoes. Lobby smelled bad. Breakfast looked not fresh and clean

Quite basic, but very clean and safe. 30 or so minute walk to Mets stadium. Parking situation was uncl at so work this out before you go.

Great location. Close to the 7 line and one stop from citi field Continental breakfast could of had used a few more options

Staff was very helpful and the location was perfect to safely walk to Citi Field and back before and after the Mets game. Great location for shopping and Asian restaurants. Reasonably priced valet parking is below the Tangram Shopping Center which is attached to the Hotel. The hotel breakfast was poorly stocked and the options were less than ideal - not very good at all. The rooms were a decent size with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bath towels were really good quality. Overall, it was clean and decently maintained. Driving can be very frustrating because it is an extremely congested area so we walked everywhere.
