Sky Hotel Flushing/LaGuardia Airport

An old building in the middle of China Town in Flushing. The room was quite small and dark. The bathroom needs updating and some items need to be fixed. There is construction on the street and parking even just for unloading bags was a problem.

Well the microwave wasn’t working in the room and they only had 2 towels in the room. Bed very squeaky

Our bathroom had an AC unit above the bathroom ceiling that continually dripped into a metal pan. We kept the door shut to muffle the noise. There was a metal canopy in the ally below our room that had loose panels and they banged al night in the wind. The "non-smoking" hotel smelled like skunk or weed. There were no useful amenities that I found int he tiny lobby. Maybe the table and two chairs? Avoid if at all possible.

On the first day I booked online and it was 197 with tax. The next day I had a friend renew it and they charged 250 bucks. I was supposed to stay another day today, and the staff said since it's the weekend they'd raise the price straight to 350 - even though the platform says it's 220. They're really treating customers like idiots

The only thing I like was the location hotel horrible room was not clean properly linen was not clean too much smoking scent but the front desk worked was helpful don't know there name

Staff was rude. Starting at the front desk when the clerk asked me if I wanted to change rooms to a double bed and I said no unless it came along with maybe a discount because I wanted a king bed. She immediately got an attitude and said she was doing me the favor. Then there’s the men who gather in the coffee area who just stared at me when I came and went. This place is awful. It’s clean enough. It’s in a great neighborhood but the only reason they fill this place is because it’s cheap. The staff is awful.

Sheets smelled like body odor. Blankets had stains. Towels had holes. Key card constantly stopped working. At one point when I went down to the desk to remedy the issue, the staff was having lunch and just handed me their key (which could unlock any of the doors) instead of resetting mine. I swiped it into a random room to confirm. Did not open the door, just checked if it did indeed unlock the door. Very irresponsible.

The property was very dirty and with roaches and the shower didn’t work at all

The location

The guy at the front desk was very helpful. . I parked at the nearby Icon Garage. The planes are a bit noisy near Laguardia. The air conditioner smelled a little musty. It was ok for a hotel in Flushing.

customer service was very professional and helpful. My overall experience was pleasant , I would stay here next time I'm in town.

Excellent place

Staff was very friendly. Gave me good restaurant recommendations around and let me borrow an umbrella too.

The towels are old and worn. The quality if the hotel dies not justify the price charged.
