Regal Inn & Suites New York LaGuardia Hotel

I didn’t like anything about the property first of all the pictures. Online is very deceiving too completely different thing. Online show a luxurious hotel visiting the hotel in person is a completely different thing. It’s more like a motel. I would not recommend this hotel.

Overall pretty there was hair in the bathroom and on the blanket. They did send over a staff to clean the bathroom. Very dim lighting no lamps. But good staff. They charge a $5ish “service” fee which is disclosed only on check in. Some mould in the shower at the bottom but still way better in terms of mould than major name brand hotels around the same price.

This place looked renovated recently, so facilities look new. The location is convenient for dining out. The property highlights on booking.com shows free parking for this place, but it is not free at all, with a higher rate for parking than the average in the nearby area. The front desk clerk did not admit it was a mistake between the place and booking.com. We had to spend time going out to find a reasonable parking nearby.

This property was very clean and excellent location for easy access to good restaurants. Unfortunately, I am a light sleeper and woke up to city noise like an airplane that flew over the building because the room is not sound proof. Otherwise, I would stay here again just for the location.

It was a decent stay to watch for a MCR concert at Citi Field. Restaurants are all over place. Website says it has a free parking for guests but I found out that it was a first come first serve thing. You have to spend another $30 for an overnight car park somewhere. That’s the only inconvenience we experienced.

Really helpful guy at the front desk, got me an early check in after my flight got cancelled and had to book last second. Clean.

I like where the property was located. The Asian community and marketplaces on Main Street in Flushing. The short distance to the LIRR. The hotel had zero amenities. No breakfast food, no ice machine,no iron. No King size bed,in which I paid for.

The parking was not easy, you have to keep calling front desk to let you in, they end charging your card in file $34.36 for parking. When I arrived there was no spots open and then they have me move my card between spots while staying at the hotel.

Uber couldn't find the hotel as it is on a congested side street. Near LGA airport and in the flight path so heard the planes throughout the night.
