Starlight Hotel

Basic just to sleep type of vibe; great location for citifield concert. Renovated and great AC.

The hotel was a good option for us for a one-night stay. It was a trip with a family. The rooms are small, but clean, i.e. all that you need for a one-night stay. The breakfast was minimal, but useful. This is a great option for those who are expecting a good stay for a decent price. The only problem was a noise coming from a next room a whole night.

The hotel was located in a not so desirable area. The suroundings of the hotel had filth spewed all over, especially against the wall of the building. The room was very small , and smelled like dead fish. The bed sheets look like they were left from the previous guests. The towels looked old and dingy . The door lock was partially hanging off. I did not stay the night. I left 4 hours after checking in. I could not stomach sleeping there.

The room I stayed in was not like the picture on the website. It was very outdated and in desperate need of a remodel. The bathroom door was falling off the hinge. The railings in the shower/bath tub were coming apart. The light above the bed was coming loose from the wall. The bath towels were very old and thin. The website description included a roof top bar which did not exist. Do NOT stay here.

the staff were very polite and thorough. really pleased with our room and the bed was so comfy! would like to return someday when staying in the area.

Great location to everything, parking is difficult. Breakfast wasn’t nothing fancy but was ok. Loved the roof top view. The room was wonderful could use a paint job. The shower head was terrible. Bed was comfortable, loved all the windows in my corner room.

Breakfast might as well be non-existent. Just a bunch of packaged, preservative-rich baked goods. My daughter and I passed. Room itself was clean except for the vent in the bathroom was filthy.

Room is very small. Breakfast is minimum. If I had other choose, I would not stay here.

The descriptions are very misleading. There are a few tables and chairs on the roof but no staff or bar/restaurant. There is no room service. The breakfast is some bagels left in a vestibule, Again with no staff. The rooms are tiny. No closet or dresser so you have to leave your things on the floor and step over them. It is extremely loud. Even with a noise machine on we could hear honking and traffic noise constantly. I would not stay here again.

The room was small and basic, and was spotless. Extremely clean! The bedding was very nice... the towels were thick. We had a great night's sleep after a long day. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. And the price was very, very reasonable! I would definitely stay here again when in Flushing for a concert or game. The hotel was within an easy walking distance to Citi Field. Also, walking back to the hotel at night was very safe. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was safe. We walked after the concert, about 11pm to find a late night snack and drink and succeeded!

We checked in late due to a flight cancellation. The staff was very friendly. The room was small but we only needed to sleep there for a few hours. I got the bed next to the widow. The curtain was

The other main complaint for me was regarding room service. I tagged my room as room service needed then headed out for a day, came back finding out that my room wasn't done at all, I didn't pay much attention as I thought they just missed it somehow and these just happen, 2 days later before heading out I stopped by front desk and asked the lady to remind their staff to stop by for room service later, surprisingly nothing was done in the end when I came back. I just don't get it why its so difficult to manage it? At this point I gave up completely Otherwise the upside is the location of this hotel, is right next to SkyView mall if you prefer having easy access to supermarket and some stores over there Overall if they do provide room service I would have given a 3 star review, but obviously they choose to ignore the need of their guest (No room service for my 1-week stay) so I'm leaving a 1 star and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

The night staff was not very aware of things. At one point, we were stuck between floors in the elevator for 15 minutes. We tried using the call and alarm buttons but no one responded. Eventually they restarted the elevator for someone waiting in the lobby, which was terrifying. When we eventually exited the response was “oh you were in there?”
