Super 8 by Wyndham Foley/North Gulf Shores

We had other family members staying in a separate room at the exact same time, and they had a nearly identical, awful experience. This is clearly a widespread problem throughout the hotel and not just a one-off bad room. We both dealt with severe cleanliness and major maintenance issues: • Pest Control Failures: We found flying roaches inside the room that were literally the size of my finger. • Filthy Conditions: The walls were visibly dirty, the room had a heavy, musty mold smell, and the pillowcases and bed linens were stained and dirty upon arrival. (We bought cleaning supplies and didn’t sleep under the covers) • Broken Amenities: The TV did not work, and the Wi-Fi was completely nonfunctional despite being advertised. • Dilapidated Bathroom: The shower head was literally hanging off the wall, and the main handle knob to turn the water on and off was broken. • Lackluster Breakfast: The "free breakfast" consists of frozen waffles individually packed in Ziploc baggies inside plastic drawers, two basic cereals, some yogurt, and a broken juice machine. The kids did enjoy the pool, and the staff's kindness is the only reason this isn't a zero-star review.

The room was fine. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The pool was not maintained well. The “breakfast” wasn’t much of a breakfast. Overall, won’t be staying again. Staff was very nice and friendly however.

Close to work Our room smelled like mold, was extremely dirty, I have pictures. There was a shoe print on the ceiling, and mold in the bathroom. Behind the bathroom door looked like they’ve never cleaned in there. Missing tiles that were baseboards, tp roll holder was missing half off it, cracked caulk on sides of shower with mold coming out, the vent fan was nasty and moldy

Location, no bugs The 1st room we were assigned to had water coming out of the floor, so we had to move to another room. In the 2nd room, the airconditioner barely worked, so it stayed hot. The beds were highly uncomfortable and there was mold on bathroom ceiling. This was my first and LAST stay at this motel.

They don’t have but fruit for breakfast no drinks at all

Friendly, clean, nice place to stay. Some workers kept coming to the door to leave.

The location was great restaurants close by, Walmart 20 min drive to the beach. Pool was open late. Extra quiet room. Low foot traffic No complaints, was exactly as advertised!

The room was clean but had an awful smell at first we thought it was dog urine but after changing room and it had the same smell we think it was the cleaning supplies. The pool is nothing like the pictures it is very small and run down. The air in our room didn't cool the room very well. The office did give us a fan to use. They only clean the rooms every 3 days is what we were told. We stayed 5 days and our room was never cleaned anytime we needed towels we had to go ask for them. The only thing that was good about this hotel was the staff. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

People are very loud and inconsiderate. Handicap parking is not enforced by management.

Front staff was very welcoming and friendly

The floors were sticky, the towel situation was terrible, Saw house keepers around, but no one came to take trash, deliver towels etc. Old railing was thrown under the stairs with rusty nails exposed. easily accessible to small children to fall on. The pool was tiny, but appeared to be clean. The breakfast is a joke, It is in desperate need of updating especially the floors, very uneven and filthy.

This place was an absolute dirt hole. Mold in the bathrooms, cigarette burns on the comforter, cracked tile which was very sharp, Very musty smell due to water/moisture causing the mold all over the room

The sink and tub were falling apart.

Overall terrible experience. Booked a king bed online, got to the hotel only for them to tell us they only had a full bed available. No way that would work for us. we asked for a refund and were denied because it had been more than 10 minutes since booking. They somehow found us a room with double beds, which we took since we couldn’t get a refund. No breakfast available either.
