I’d normally just say it was okay and go on with my day, but honestly just wasn’t the best considering how much we paid. Towels stained, cracks all up and down the walls, half the lamps broken in our room.

Great manager day shift

It was a overall okay stay, would likely stay again!

Air conditioning rattled the entire night, sounded like mice in a hamster wheel. We couldn’t sleep. Elevator to the second floor was broken. Thankfully we weren’t handicapped. Bathroom was disgusting and when we took a shower it flooded the floor. The blankets on the bed had stains on them. Looked like grease stains. All for $225! Absolutely insane. I’ll never be back. And the staff didn’t care when I brought this to their attention.

I have no problem with the place. It is not perfect, but it is work in progress.

So, the bedding was clean. However, when we went to bed the whole bed felt damp. I think it was the air conditioner and they had some type of machine going- maybe a dehumidifier? Idk because they told me nothing when I checked in. The shower was weird it don’t have a normal knob to turn shower on. I ask another tenant and she told me it is a pull down on the tub faucet. There was some mold in the caulking around the tub. The hotel can’t help this part but the people next door stayed up smoking weed and it came into our room smelling like skunk and diesel fuel mixed and we could hear them talking most of the night. I was afraid to call the desk- I’m not saying I’d get retaliation from the neighbors but never know. I think there may need to some security at night.

We spent 5 nights. Same continental breakfast everyday. Egg patty, sausage patty, banana, bagel, toast, oatmeal. But there was fresh make your own waffles. Only topping was slow pouring syrup. Orange juice (really tasty) and apple juice. Coffee was decent. Air-conditioning made a chirping noise. We told guy twice and a lady once. Couldn't figure out to turn shower on , had lady show us. For all 5 days, only trash was changed and towels replaced. TV remote didn't work. So the TV never got turned off. Especially since we needed a distraction from the noisy air conditioner. Parking lot was littered and so we're outside stairs. Ice machine worked on 1st floor. Toilet paper was better at Buc-ee's. Location is a bit far from beaches. But close to shopping and restaurants. Safe area and quiet. Pool didn't look very inviting but it did rain everyday so I could expect it.

Always room for improvement

The sheets were questionable, stained. everything looked and/or was dirty. Basic things hadn’t even been wiped down. I lysoled the whole room. Breakfast was puny. Guests were loud. Will not return.

It was a nice place to stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

Stayed in Foley for a conference I attend annually. The pool was decent, as was the breakfast. Housekeeping takes up used towels during one visit each day, while dropping off clean ones at another time. They didn't always replace every piece of linen. I saw one of them dust mop the floor of another guest's room, but ours remained dirty the entire week. I took out the trash the 1st night & replaced the receptacle bag w/ a two-handled grocery bag; they left my bag there the entire week. My wife said her belongings may have been disturbed in the room but didn't notice anything missing. I dunno. She also has an odd line of bites on her arm & a patch of bites on her chest (bedbugs?). Not a good trip for her. The bathroom sheet rock was poorly patched, & the tub itself appeared rather sketchy. There was a hole in the wall near the vanity's light switch. The parking lot held trash that remained all week. The guest laundry dryer lasted a long time on $2 & dries the clothes, but it was obtrusively loud. A staff member asked me to check my clothes for dryness while it was running, seemingly annoyed by me allowing the loudness to continue. Not my fault it's noisy, sir. Considering the cost, I don't expect perfection, but I wanted future guests to be aware. I stayed at another motel last year in Foley, also on McKenzie St. (CO 59). It was better & had a gym (think America) for a few dollars more per night. Sounds like a better option for next year.

The king bed was nice too. The coffee, refrigerator, & microwave provided in the room were great too. The guest laundry was nice. However, it was no smoking, but people were smoking cigarettes & pot outside. There were cigarette butts everywhere outside. The tenants staying next to us, were screaming & yelling & using the F bomb. It was so loud, I could hear it over our TV. It woke me up at 11:30 one night. The male sounded like he was abusing the woman both verbally & physically. I tried to call the front desk & there was no answer. I almost called the police. It made our stay not comfortable so we left a day early.
