Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Foley - North Gulf Shores

So I normally never post a review but in this case I am. There was one problem that was very upsetting. The main thing myself and my friend always want for our vacation is to use the pool. It was filthy. There was so much trash in it and it was not clear like I normally see at a hotel pool. It was so cloudy looking. I did let the front desk know. They did send someone out very shortly afterwards and cleaned it some but it was still very dirty and cloudy looking A couple days later they had it closed at night because they said the chemicals were too high. From what we were seeing and what the maintenance guys told us made it pretty apparent they dont do the proper maintenance that is required for a pool. I dont believe they would have sent anyone out at all if I had not complained. I complained two different times. The maintenance guy that had come out on that first day after I made a complaint told my friend and myself that they dont have daily maintenance for the pool. There was so much grime in the pool. I will say the rest of the property was excellent but the pool issue will make me not stay there again.

Pool was having issues with chlorine and chemical so it was out of service. Other than that the grounds and room were nice and clean.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast could use some help. Both in taste and variety.

Hotel has been updated, new furniture, carpet, tile. All very nice

It was conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants The parking lot was a little small.

I was happy to see how clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Now as far as what made my stay not so pleasant was the AC ,it was very loud all night. I would wait for it to come on then hate to hear it come on at the same time because of all the noise it would make that went on all night. We also stayed here because of breakfast. 👍

Pool could have been cleaner but everything else wa good

Everything was very nice!! All the people who work there were so helpful and seem to enjoy doing their job!!! The location was Awesome right next to many places people like to go especially Tangers Outlet !!!!

Con: pool and spa was closed all day due to them putting chemicals in it

The room was nice, as clean as you would expect. I cleaned it a little better but im OCD. The staff was all super nice and helpful. We stayed in a suite with a full size fridge and 2 eye stove top. It had a couch that pulled out into a bed too. Wood floor so no nasty carpet. The pool could have been cleaner but i wasnt there for their pool. The location is super convenient its literally in the heart of Foley and EVERYTHING you could need or want. The price was great too.

Room was nice and clean, they let us check in two hours early plus they had the AC on so it was nice and cool when we walked in. Staff was helpful with towel exchange and kept the pool area stocked. Pool was also well maintained.

Loved everything about this place! Definitely be back.

Pool is much bigger then the picture gives justice Bathroom door would hit the toilet. No room. Break was missing a lot of food. When we asked if the where going refill the bacon and sausage we were told no.

Everything was good There was nothing to not like

How close everything was to the property . . Restaurant, Walmart, Beach, Etc. . My how early housekeeping comes. . They don't even give you time to get to the door . . Also my room was full of blonde hair everywhere . . Especially in the bathroom area . .
