Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street

Good stay. Staff was okay. Breakfast was more than expected. Pool was nice.

We had a leak in our room and reported three times. It was never resolved during our stay.

Not the cleanest, but somewhat understandable as it was Fourth of July weekend and there were a ton of kids.

Good enough but looks a bit run down with a closer look. Staff was fine but not great.

The room was clean and roomy bed was overall comfortable but the pillows are very flat. Breakfast was AMAZING. Outdoor pool was nice but you will see lots of iguanas. Didn’t care for the parking price 38.00 a night/ if we go back we’d probably choose to uber as we rented a car and paid parking each night which made the car rental not worth it.

Our room had broken hook, sink and sink that didn't drain. It took almost 3 days to get the extra towel and bedding that we requested. Alejandro was the only one that came through for us and got us a new room and bedding. Communication about guest requests should be much better. It shouldn't depend on the luck of getting a staff that cared and helped us out like Alejandro. We felt ignored and got tired of asking and being told "soon" then ignored. Not sure I would recommend or stay there again even though the breakfast was great. Wished the omelets were less greasy.

Bathroom handle was broken and no-one repaired it. Fan and desk is full of thick dust. Look like the room wasn't cleaned for long time. This is also after it took them 2 hours to f8nd a room for me. Very poor.

For almost a forty year old property, it has been well maintained considering its age and usage!

Great breakfast and location

Great visit for the World Cup game in Miami. The staff were friendly and the breakfast went a long way. Hotel had everything we needed.

The suite was extremely clean, bathroom was great, Evening meal was really nice, plenty of choices on the menu. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was really busy but there was plenty of choices and eggs cooked to order if you wanted. All staff that we encountered were very pleasant. Disappointed that my request was not forwarded to hotel by Hotels.com as per booking!
