Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street

Elevator was broken the whole time. Beds were very uncomfortable.

The morning breakfast was amazing with one Chef creating omelette in the other scrambled egg

We have stayed at this property for many years prior to bording our cruise. Great location with shopping near by. The property slowly declines in cleanliness, staffing, property maintenance, and bed comfort. We did t get our keys to our room until after 5pm, this is after we stood in line for over an hour at 3. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here in the future.

We did not get the room we paid for, I had to ask for our snacks that we was post to get everyday. I really Want a refund . The room was stinky

The room air condition leaked water and no one fixed it. It made the room smelly. Also the room was not cleaned properly and the beds weren't made up properly. I was highly disappointed and I have made a choice not to return

Overall the hotel was ok I just would like to have known about the fees and also the valet parking that cost $36 a day remind you we are a family of five and we were there for 5 days. There was a $15 dollar a day restaurant voucher that we could have utilities that I didn’t know about and still had to pay for the amenities that we had not been informed of. The tv had a few channels that looked like the tv needs an update, the bath tub had paint missing and looked dirty we showered in our swim shoes. Breakfast was nice! I already paid out so much for this trip then get hit with all the fees and charges at the end. Most of the staff were nice and the phone could use an update when we called for service it sounded as if the caller was using old school cup phones. ( cup with the string attached to another cup)!

Staff was very accommodating with checking in and very informative of amenities offered. Housekeeping was great and provided extra towels quickly when asked. Breakfast and complimentary evening drinks were great also. Beds were comfortable. Area was very convenient location with Publix close by including several good restaurants and ice cream shop!

Overall the atmosphere was beautiful. The hotel itself was nice and we would recommend it. However our room was only attended to twice in our five day stay, our water/drinks were never replaced after check in unless requested. And front desk was not informative when we had questions about amenities they offered ie; shuttle services to conventions and the beach. We also experienced a large cockroach on the first day coming out of the drain.

Clean convenient location

It's a little run down but awesome location if going on a cruise. Port is a 5 minute taxi ride. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
