Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

I was welcomed early in the morning after a wonderful week on a cruise. Denise was working check-in and was excited to have a room ready for me as the staff here was on top of everything. The room was beautifully clean well supplied quite large and very comfortable. Although I did not get to use the outside amenities, they are in excellent condition. There’s a very nice welcoming area to enjoy a drink and just relax. Elevators are clean and running perfectly. As for the next morning breakfast, everything was hot fresh and well stocked. What a wonderful way to end a short recovery vacation. I highly recommend staying with this wonderful facility.

Staff Needs updating

When we finally Arrived at 5:00, the room wasn’t ready so we had to wait. Room was ok…nothing exceptional… We had breakfast the next morning. It was eggs and sausage and was tasteless. Waffles we made ourselves were good. The best part of our experience was meeting José F. Lopez who was working at the front desk . He was wonderful. Very kind and willing to help us. Will never stay at this hotel again.

From I entered, the perfume was mesmerizing and consistent throughout every room. The agent was very welcoming and helpful. The breakast was good enough and the shuttle was on time

When we entered the lobby, Front desk guy was on his phone. There was no greetings at all. When I said hello, he just looked at us with no response. I told him that we have a reservation and then he said provide him my license and card. He said one night, gave us the card back with the key and told us that breakfast will be served at 6:30 am. I have stayed in many Fair Field Inn properties but this was bizarre experience.

The bed was very hard. The pillows suck. The handle was falling off of the tub. The blue flashing light on the smoke detector was distracting. Breakfast was good. Lots crammed into a small space.

Exceptional

Room was clean. Toilet didn’t work. Sheets dirty. Service recovery was good after changing me to 3 rooms the 4th room was upgrades and good to go. The hotel does not looked refurbished in the past 3 years. Too many instant scrambled eggs for breakfast. Horrible eggs.
