Baymont by Wyndham Fort Wayne

My particular room was clean. The guy at desk did not speak very good English. It was not a planned stay so I did not have a tooth brush or deodorant. Guy gave me a toothbrush that actually fell apart after use. I don't think he understood about my other need. The outside of property was not very well kept. I generally don't stay at these types and breakfast was very poor breakfast so plan to eat elsewhere. All I can say is my room and bathroom were very clean. For that I was thankful.

This was my 2nd Baymont hotel and this one was still better than the first...The afternoon to evening front desk worker was very kind and accommodating however the morning staff and housekeepers were all so rude and pushy.

Breakfast was hot, biscuits and gravy and eggs and sausage alternating with potatoes. And waffles and oatmeal and other typical breads, bagels, were other choices. Clean. Desk clerk always quickly filled up milk and brkf items whenever I asked or let him know something ran out. It was very quiet. Curtains do nice at darkening room at night, which I loved. The a/c felt so good at night. It didn't take long to figure out the right setting. We never took baths, but the shower had nice heat and water pressure. The elevator was even fast, quiet, and modern or newer-feeling. 3 pillows (I always bring my own knowing I like extra) on each bed and a light but warm comforter, especially for summer. I was there for a week convention/festival that was a 20 min drive. This motel was nicer than expected and it also smelled smoke-free (usually our price range of motels that are called smoke-free smell of awful cig smoke and pot so this motel was refreshing.

Bed sheets and floor in the room were stained. Toilet seat was far past replacing, worn and chipped. Shower was stained and didn’t feel clean. Towels were tough and tiny. Every machine in the fitness center was out of order and unusable.

Great last minute booking. Breakfast was good and the bed much needed!

Had broken coffee table in the king suite, remote for tv didn’t want to work, the wall light flickered when on. Staff was hard to understand our dogs barked while we were at dinner and instead of calling us they just yelled at us when we returned. The carts to move luggage were broken they said they had two I only ever saw one and it was missing in the morning of check out. They ran out of coffee with the breakfast. The shower had no water pressure. And the carpet was stained and had several burn marks and torn up in places.

The room was possibly clean around the toilet was not clean and the room smelled of air fresheners to cover past odors. Walls were very thin and I had a room across from the pool, which was really noisy. If you like a firm bed, this is your place.

There was hair on the bed and on the “clean” towels. Place looked and felt not clean.

Rather rude towards my wife when she asked about fixing the TV in the room.

Clean room quiet hallways

The room was clean but the tub looked worn and the shower didn't work. The pool works but it has bugs in it and they didn't clean it after closing so it all had bugs in it when I left. They tried to take more money from me off me debit card they used to get my deposit off of luckily it was locked. I had already paid for my room before I got there. They tried to tell me that I couldn't have my other kids swimming with us because they were not sleeping there. I won't be going back anymore.

Very welcoming and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff.

Wish the breakfast was better

There was no water pressure. The water pressure was so low when you added the hot water to the cold in an attempt for a warm shower, the shower wouldn't even come on. Therefore if you wanted water to come out of the shower at all, it had to be cold. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the room next door very easily. There were broken handles on the dresser and the room was in general disrepair. The AC was very noisy. I wouldn't stay here again until they fix things up. It's in a great location, so it's really too bad.

Very dirty room. Floors not swept. Could not take shower. Very filthy.
