Red Roof Inn Franklin, TN

The room itself was okay, and the beds and the room looked clean. There was a strong smell that was hard to identify, but it was mostly coming from the air conditioner. The smell was very off-putting and made it difficult to sleep, and it was making me sneeze.

The room had a massive mold problem. We saw 3 brown recluse in the first couple of hours. No fitted sheets on either bed. When I addressed these issues with the staff, I was told they were aware of the issues.

Watch out cleaning, A/C functionality and pest control

Toilet didn't flush well,the kept running

Location The toilet was hard to flush, shower head didn’t work properly, and there was a crack around the door and under the door that you could fit your finger in.

The hotel was close to where we needed to be There was no breakfast and no pool even though it’s advertised a pool.

No cups, no hair dryer, no bar soap, no shampoo or conditioner etc, TV was awful, could not even pickup local channel 5. Price was really good, so I guess one should expect a lot of amenities, but there should at least be drinking cups. Parking was okay. Room was very clean & bedding was clean. Also, wasn't expecting a 50 dollar deposit for damage. I am 80 years old, so only damage I could cause would be if I accidently fell.

Met our needs it was good

When we checked in after a long day on the road our room was not even clean! Garbage on the tables and dirty towels on the floor. Beds not made. Went to the front desk to tell them they out us in a dirty room and got zero apology. Just a do you want a refund or another room. Asked for another room as we had been on the road 12 hours and just wanted to sleep. Preferably in a clean room!
