Days Inn by Wyndham Frederick

I've been to Day Inn hotel before, and I must say that most of them are clean and well represented. however, this particular one was not a Day Inn Hotel. they probably buy the name to attract people.

The room has everything you'll need it it...but the continental breakfast is inadequate. Good stay.

Old building

Old Property. More of a motel. Drive up to room. No interior corridors. Breakfast was bare bones. Experience was OK.

There was a Big puddle of water on the way to the room. The room smelled like smoke. While I was out my teenage daughters asked for towels and the clerk refused to give them, he told them that they needed to bring the used ones back to registration office. First of all, it was late at night at night and they shouldn’t have had to do any of that to get a towel. Second of all, they were embarrassed because she was on her period and the towel was bloody dirty. Next day, around 6:30am I went to have breakfast and the same male Clerk told me I had to eat there. I told him he’s Not telling where to eat. I grabbed my coffee, a banana and left for work. Lastly, it’s 9:30am my daughters are still in bed and the cleaning person let herself in, that’s a violation of Privacy. What’s Wrong with you?? This Days Inn hotel in Frederick is the WORST I’ve ever experienced in hotels.

Room was paid in full upon reservation but we still had to pay $100 deposit at check in. Never had to do this before. Still waiting for deposit to be refunded. No hot water in the bathroom sink due to broken faucet

-- Room was OK, nothing to boast about. --Also they claimed to offer breakfast. But all they have a limited starches like two choices of sugared cereal, some small mass-produced blueberry muffins, and a couple other things. A couple choices of juices. No real protein offerings like eggs or sausage, except maybe some yogurt. You could also make toast, but if you wanted butter on it... they were out of butter the day we stayed!!! If an included breakfast is important to you, this is not the place.

I didn’t have no problems everything was right

I stayed here before. It suited my needs and was a value. I’d stay there again when in town.

Bathroom was not clean. Beds super uncomfortable and room smelled terrible.

Adjoining rooms. A/C didn’t work well in one room. Noisy/dirty/cracked bathroom vents. Ceiling above shower head coming down.

Grounds were generally clean and staff were helpful and nice.

When I told the lady behind the counter about this, she said: "the housecleaner doesn't speak English." The lady behind the desk is Indian, and she is hiring Spanish-only staff. This is truly a new low. To her credit, the lady behind the desk found another room and went with me to inspect it. It was clean!

Never ever again. I was given a room that was still not cleaned from the last customer, including an un flushed toilet. Was given a second room in another building that was devoid of all furniture, and a guy was drying it out. I can only imagine why. They are totally confused on the front desk, and obviously, have no clue as to what rooms they have available. I gave them their card back and told them I was going to another hotel , where there was a competent Manager. They say any payment credit would have to be taken up with the booking agency. Their attitude was “whatever”, like they could care less. DO NOT RECOMMEND ! Didn’t know about the photo feature on this.

Slightly dated exterior but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Fairly quiet as well

Nice little spot, was able to finally rest.

Prices went up drastically since last stay a month ago. From 115 to 156. At first appearance it looked clean but after walking across the carpet a few times my feet were filthy. Lots of loud neighbors that could easily be heard through the walls. Not worth almost 160.00 a night in my book.
