The guy at check-in was rude. We were charged for an extra guest, but

Charm of a bygone era. Sweetest staff ever.

Location is great, right off main street. The place was very clean, check-in easy and staff friendly.
-
staff was friendly and helpful. Let me check in early on arrival and let me a power strip. Would stay here again.

Front desk lady was very helpful 👌 👍 and very nice. Beds were super comfy and oh my the water pressure from the shower was excellent! The air conditioner was super cold no extra fans were needed to sleep. You will not be disappointed 😌 . Yes, not your updated 4 Star, but OMG best reasonable money spent for a 1 night stay with all expectations needs met !!

The hotel was a nice place to spend the night. Breakfast included coffee, pastries, cereal and DIY waffles.

Even though this isn't a brand new hotel, it's hard to tell it because it's so clean and the people are so nice. This hotel makes the most of the room it has and we had to have a roll-in shower for my mom's wheelchair. She had no trouble at all maneuvering around the bathroom on her own, which is amazing because she values her independence. This room was truly ADA compatible and that is refreshing. Thank you.

Wasn’t terrible but didn’t stand out. Good place to sleep not to hang out. For the price in the area on a weekend it was worth it but don’t expect to be impressed.

Myself and my friends and family have stayed at the Wine Country Inn on multiple trips to Fredericksburg. We’ve always had a great experience. However, this stay did not go well. When we were preparing to check out, three men knocked on our door, ten minutes before checkout. They did not announce themselves as housekeeping and there was no cleaning cart in the hall. Even though we told them we were grabbing our last things and we’d be out soon, they waited outside the door and stormed by us to get inside the room, still three minutes before check out time. We spoke with the owner and she just smiled and gave no explanation. We then noticed that one of the men had followed us and was watching us load our car from the front door of the hotel. It made us four women extremely uncomfortable.

The room was clean but very basic. Breakfast was very minimal. I reserved a King bed room but got a double bed room instead. Lady at the front desk told me it was a free upgrade.

Very clean and quiet hotel!

Place was great. Rooms were clean; however air freshener was too strong. Need to keep air on a little bit so not so stuffy inside. Breakfast was okay nothing special. Overall good place to stay.

Hidden gem for sure. This place is small and far from flashy but everything is clean and well maintained. The property is quiet and their common areas are kept sparkling clean. The staff is responsive without being pushy, overly friendly or intrusive. We booked a 2 day stay and ended up extending to a third day!
