Casco Bay Inn

This property was closed upon our arrival. The owner/manager said he would go cancel the reservation so that hotels.com would begin the process to issue the refund. There still has been no follow through on this and we just wait. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Very bad business.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!! We “supposedly” had reservations to this place and when we got there they aren’t even open!! 8:30pm with 3 children in the car. New renovations taking place. New beds in the hallways looking through the door trying to find someone they don’t even have a front desk because it’s being remodeled. I’m ok with the remodel but what I will not tolerate is being scammed by the hotel for saying they have rooms and selling through Expedia when clearing they don’t have rooms available. Maybe when it is done it will be nice but I will never stay there for what they did this time and being untruthful that they have rooms available. Thankfully the Holiday inn express down the street is available and what nice rooms they have. Would highly recommend the Holiday inn over this place! Thanks for the scam!!!

Despite my having a reservation and receiving reminders about check in time the day before, the hotel was under construction thus closed.

The price was very reasonable. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There was construction going on so it was a bit noisy which is very clearly going to happen with construction. Besides that I wouldn’t say there were many negatives.

No coffee, no keurig, no continental breakfast amenities, and no warning that the place was under massive renovations.

Waited almost a half hour at checkin for someone to finally show up.Loud construction from the time i checked in at noon until 730 last night. Sounds like they are remodeling with plywood. That saw was ripping all day. Manager promised they would be done at 5. Lies. The saws started back up around 8 Am. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Water stains all over the ceilings. This place was bad.

The motel is undergoing construction and renovation. Loud construction noise continued past 6:00 PM and the bathroom sink would not drain. I have stayed here in the past and it has been a cost effective choice. The timing was bad for this particular visit.

being remodeled shower was lukewarm but that’s consistent in a lot of Maine hotels…

Nothing There was blood on the curtains and brown stains on the bathroom walls. The shower head was falling off. NOTHING like the photos. The ceiling had water damage everywhere. There was no breakfast as advertised.

Construction not complete. Loud HVAC even though fairly new. Thermostat not working. Tiny tv. Poor room lighting. Good price. Clean.

Always friendly staff and consistently clean rooms. The continental breakfast was not available (I believe due to remodeling), but I was not aware of this until checking in.

They were in the middle of a remodel. We were excited to stay here based on the pictures, but the lack of cleanliness and amenities listed that were unavailable were disappointing.

The place was under construction so there was no where to hang out but your dark, gloomy room. It was the most depressing hotel stay I ever experienced. The hotel and Hotels.com is be mandated to list when the property is under construction: no seating area, no coffee... NOTHING

Bed was okay Massive construction underway.

It was close. We chose this place bc it offered breakfast each morning and I never was informed that it was not offered due to renovations. This really impacted my weekend bc I was in the Maine Women of Service pageant.

The staff were friendly the room was very clean the cable did go out day two so we spent the day out
