Our room was on the back of the building and next to the highway which could be noisy at times. The shower water pressure and volume was good, but the spray pattern on the shower head was not great.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating! Everything went smooth, hotel clean and all was great.

We had a room booked for 5 adults after a long day of travel. We arrived to this hotel around 9:30 at night ready to unwind and get to bed. We discovered that our room with sleeping accommodations for 5 was given to someone else, and all that was left was a room for 3. There was no effort in rebooking us at another hotel where there would have been adequate room. We were told they'd look for another mattress and call us back, but we never received a call. We followed up with a manager the next morning who assured us our stay would be compensated, but the manager never reached out to us and hasn't answered multiple emails. Several of our party got no sleep, and our experience was unacceptable. I will not stay at a SpringHill suites again.

Great spot for our family. Beds were very comfortable,, apt spotless and kids had a fun time playing fusbol and ice hockey! Parking was a little tight but manageable.

We reported the issue to the front desk, and Zach was extremely helpful and professional. He sincerely apologized and immediately offered us another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had hair and stains on the bed sheets, and the garbage bin had not been emptied. He apologized again and showed us a third room, but it had the same cleanliness issues. Zach truly did everything he could to accommodate us, and we really appreciate his excellent customer service. During our trip, we stayed at six different hotels, and unfortunately, this was the only one where we experienced cleanliness problems. The hotel management should place greater emphasis on housekeeping standards and ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before guests arrive. Housekeeping staff should also receive proper training to maintain consistent cleanliness. With better housekeeping, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience.

I was initially put in a room that was next to a mechanical room for the pool, it had a very loud hum that made the experience extremely unpleasant. They did move me to a different room the next day, but the promised comped night was not reflected on the bill. I will not stay there again.

Helpful staff and well maintained rooms.

It was a very nice place for overnight stay. Very comfortable with enough amenities. Breakfast was nice with enough variety. Room was specious and everything one would need to stay overnight.

The hotel is nicely updated but it is located right next to the highway. The windows are old and provide no sound insulation. It was impossible to get rest and good sleep because of the constant noise from trucks and cars on the highway.

Beautiful setting Nothing

The facility was very well maintained. The pool looked a little more worn than the rest of the property but it was still nice.

Pros…Good location off rte. 1. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with healthy options and milk alternatives. Cons… Our toilet clogged and tub drained very slowly, and we were awakened in the night by a banging noise which may have been a branch hitting the window repeatedly or the ac unit fan not working. When I told the staff they were very kind and sympathetic, but we didn’t sleep well. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The pool is very nice and the gym was great. All in all mixed but not bad.

The breakfast we good for a typical hotel breakfast. The attendant was attentive and worked hard well after closing, cleaning up the area. There was plenty of everything except maybe the fruit. When I select a Marriott brand hotel I have come to expect a level above the average. The price certainly reflects that because I could stay at a motel 6 for much less and have the room cleaning be about the same as this hotel room was. The bathroom had strange hairs left behind and the corners were not clean indicating a quick wipe. They must have used a common rag to clean this and other rooms to leave hair behind. Makes me wonder if the rags used to clean the faucet handles was the same as those used to clean the toilet. I think the location to store the towels were in a place that gets splatter from the commode as a man stands to use. Towels should be kept high and away out of the splatter zone. When I see this kind of careless cleaning I wonder if the remote was sanitized and were the handles to doors and faucets cleaned? I stay in Marriott's because it's expected that the owners pay for a standard higher than low end hotels. Is the cleaning crew given enough time and a fair wage? Are inspections done to assure quality control?

Shower dial was kind of wonky. Only hot water until about 1 o’clock and the some cold

Extremely loud as it is right next to the highway. Could hear cars and trucks all night. Pool was small and constantly full. Beds were very uncomfortable.

Very clean, good location, pool was clean. We were still full from dinner so we didn't eat breakfast.

Room with two queen beds and a sofa trundle twin bed made plenty of room for five adults to stay overnight comfortably. It was a short stay, checking in at 2am and leaving after breakfast at 10am; just passing through from Amtrak Boston to Freeport, then driving back home through Maine. Staff was helpful finding ingredients to breakfast items, which was very appreciated by myself and my daughter who both have Celiac. Parking lot was full when we checked in very late, but Shemore was patient and kind in helping us find a place to park our cars - much appreciated!
