Garden Inn and Suites

We had a four bed suite it was massive! Two bedrooms each with two queen size beds and a common living area. So clean so comfortable and they had all of these fruit trees growing on the property. Peach trees, humongous avocado, olive, ginkgo, oranges limes Cumquat pomegranates. And we’re pretty sure the fruit that they served us in the morning was the ones that were growing on the trees. The hotel staff was so sweet and stayed up late for us because we were coming in late. We just needed to call and let them know when we were arriving. And in the morning the breakfast was amazing and he was so accommodating if we wanted eggs, he made sure the eggs were refilled. If we wanted yogurt he made sure even though there was only like five minutes left of breakfast. We didn’t use the pool, but it was extremely clean, considering all the fruit trees around it. I can’t say much about Fresno, but will definitely be staying at the garden Inn again next time we drive thru there. One of the bedrooms even had a little patio in the back!

Breakfast has not much choices but the hotel price was affordable during our stay. The hotel has fruit trees that makes it more convincing and relaxing to stay. It is about 1.5 to 2 hours away from both yosemite and sequioa. ( middle). I would recommend this place.

It is essentially a large one bedroom apartment. Living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. WOW! Swimming pool Jacuzzi And Breakfast included. Felt so fancy. I will definitely stay here again!

The gardens with various fruits growing along the pathway - it will be fantastic in mid July, when they ripen. Messy, unkempt property. To be fair, I learned that the maintenance man had been out sick. He has a LOT of work to do.

Another huge plus was the beautiful gardens surrounding the motel. We picked so much ripe fruits, cherry plums, peaches, grapes, kumquats and pluots. That part was really unique and special. Breakfast in the morning was just okay. Something about the waffles was off, they also had sausage and breakfast potatoes, hard boiled eggs, breads and cereal. The cons to this place are definitely notable. There were a lot of ants in our room, particularly in the kitchenette area and bathrooms. The air conditioning in the room seemed to barely work. We ended up opening the windows and fortunately had a cool night. We needed to do laundry and had only one working dryer. The machines take quarters but they didn't have any quarters at the office. The pool was open but looked very dirty and we did not use it. Overall I'm still giving this place five stars because we really appreciated the uniqueness of the fruit orchard. Otherwise I would only give this place 3 or 4.

There were stains on everything in the room, and what appeared to be dried blood on the wall.

The grounds were a mess. sidewalks were full of smashed fruit.

The pool and spa were clean. Room very spacious. Loved the beautiful gardens around the property. We had a lovely courtyard with an outdoor seating area which was lovely.

Safe The office staff controls the AC unit. My room was in the low 80s for two days. The clerk kept saying he’ll turn the AC on but it didn’t seem to work.

It took a little while for the air conditioner to cool down the room but finally we got it. The place is beautiful with all the vegetation around, no wonder is called the Garden. Breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommended.

The entire place was really nice. Pool was great. Our A/C wouldn't go below 78 degrees and was very uncomfortable all night.

The hotel is surrounded with plenty of fruit trees and flowers of many different varieties. There was also an abundant amount of business near by The room almost felt as if I was renting an air bnb

Not as advertised, don't stay here

overall quiet accomodations. comfortable bed. breakfast was above average for a budget motel, with eggs sausage potatoes waffles. room rate was in the lower range for the area. main issue is that air conditioning is poor so that will need to be fixed before the heat comes.
