Beyond the respiratory health hazards, the room itself posed safety and sanitary risks. The towels looked visibly dirty and unfit for use. Structurally, the room was falling apart: floors had literal cracks creating tripping hazards, and critical safety features like door latches and electrical outlets were broken or malfunctioning.
