Staff was friendly Not clean, people having a party with a lot of alcohol in the lobby, fridge didn’t work. room smelled mildewy. wads of hair on the floor, bed, bathtub. No toilet paper. trash behind the dresser, flooring literally not connected, tried to be covered by a rug. left shortly after check In, we did not stay.

No hot water just lukewarm water and the place was nasty and run down.

Sheets were dirty. Room wasn't all the way cleaned. Dirty wash cloth in the bathroom. Toilet was clogged. Bathroom door was damaged and looked to be eaten by termites. Floors were sticky. Room smelt like cigarettes.

Room was perfect for a Halloween horror night. Furniture was falling apart, dresses drawers didn’t close. We didn’t have blankets. Radio/clock made static noises even when it as off. We have to disconnect it from the wall. Bathroom Tub was dirty and stained…. not well keeper. A TV stand was screwed to the dresses and unless to stood next to the receiver the control didn’t work. Never again.

Pubes, mold, stank, dry rot, cigarette burns, urine . . . Need I say more? Staff is very friendly, professional, and try to help, but it cant overcome the disgusting state of this property. Sad

We needed a hotel in Gainesville to attend a Gator game & this was literally the last hotel with an available room for 2 nights. Due to the game all hotel rates were very high, so that means we paid almost $500. The staff were nice, but here are the problems we had from start to finish; the elevator was broken, but they put us on the 3rd floor (we are not young!), this hotel smells bad, the hall carpets are stained, the security doors on the floors do not lock, the floor in our room was cracked with a missing chunk, the furniture & 1 chair were badly worn, the water in the shower/tub wouldn’t turn off, the 2 pillows were like pancakes, the air conditioner front panel was halfway off, the shampoo, conditioner etc mounted in the shower were empty & the maid removed 1 set of bath towels but didn’t replace them, the bed had 2 sheets with a very worn flimsy blanket. Positives: the Wi-Fi worked and the mini fridge was cold.

Proximity to UF The exterior doors that supposedly require a room key for entry did not latch properly, which was concerning from a security standpoint. The room smelled strongly of mildew, and there was a used washcloth left in the shower. Overall, the cleanliness and security issues made for a disappointing stay.

Requested handicap room on first floor for my daughter who is on Oxygen and there for a lung transplant evaluation and the elevator did not work. They put us on the 3rd floor. Said they had no rooms on the first or second floor but there was not many people staying at the hotel. Rooms were very small and beds uncomfortable. Seemed like the people working there lived there with all their friends and family.

Check in was easy and staff was nice. Lobby seemed fine, but there were a few odd folks lounging around in there. We checked in later, like 10pm. Room was fine looking, but the beds were very wobbly and squeaky on a loose metal frame in need of repair. One bed had sheets that seemed to have not been changed with dirt and hair under the covers. There were only two towels, but the bathroom was clean. Whole place needs an upgrade housekeeping needs to do their job and not cut corners.

Our stay got off to a disappointing start. Upon entering our first room, we discovered red stains along the wall borders; they were concerning enough that my mother, who is a nurse, worried they might be blood. Additionally, the drawers were quite filthy. While the front desk did accommodate us with a room change, which was an improvement, the furniture in the second room (specifically the chair) was so visibly dirty that it was honestly off-putting. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, offering a decent selection of hot and convenient food. However, if cleanliness is a priority for you, I would suggest looking elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel for an extended stay.

The size of the room was smaller than I had anticipated. I have a granddaughter that is disabled what she does not require disabled accommodations for wheelchair accessibility but she does need room to navigate with a bit of an unsteady gate or even a walker. I did not request this so..it was my fault but I've never had to request it before because usually the rooms aren't quite that small.
