Very nice and clean room. Close to many restaurants.

Overall the room was clean. Housekeeping seemed to miss the small things, coffee stains on the cubby and spider webs on the lights. Breakfast was good and the coffee was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel (I like a strong coffee). The downside was other hotel guest yelling on their phones while walking up and down the hall, and others playing grabass pushing each other out of the rooms (they were from a restoration company staying at the hotel) can’t blame the hotel for that.

The rooms were clean and breakfast was great.

Everything was wonderful

LaQuinta is our go-to place to stay when we travel to Gainesville. All of the staff, from management to front desk to housekeeping to the people who service the dining area are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend LaQuinta to anyone traveling to this area.

Room was dirty when I informed the front desk they changed my room and said “no worries this happens all the time” and the new room was still a bit dirty

Front desk employee was great! Super friendly and helpful! We had to shorten our stay and he was very understanding and accommodating. Breakfast was good as well. What was not very good was the smell of the room we had, it was hard to figure out if it was musty odor from the AC or were there pets in it previously? Also found a black long hair when I pulled back the bedding. That could have been from person changing linens hopefully, which would not be as bad as from the previous guest so I really hope that wasn't the case. Lastly, there were dirty spots on floor in bathroom, so someone there isn't doing the best job. This hotel got pretty good reviews so I was surprised that it wasn't in better shape. It's a shame because like I said staff were super friendly.

The front desk staff were very professional and accommodating. They were very helpful each time we went to them. Our room was clean and welcoming.

We have stayed here a few times with no issues, but this time it really looked like the cleaning staff wasn’t keeping up. Bathroom smelled musty and I then noticed why, mold around the shower floor and no ventilation. I noticed rug in room was not vacuumed well and the hallway floors to the rooms were disgustingly stained. They need to be cleaned. Head of bed went slightly down you could see just looking at it, and bed needed a new mattress. Very uncomfortable! Staff was going to send maintenance to spray shower mold and apologized, but I had someone sleeping so I was able to get Lysol wipes and at least wipe the moldy area. Staff was friendly at desk and helping a lot of people check in etc . More effort needed cleaning, this was a nice hotel. Juice machine was down at breakfast so only juice was if you bought it. Breakfast was free as part of stay.
