Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gainesville I-35

The elevator went out and we had to wait an hour before she would reassign our room to a lower floor. She finally gave us a room on the 1st floor because I couldn’t climb the stairs. My 72 year old sister with a pacemaker had to climb 3 flights of stairs to retrieve our bags because there was only one staff person on duty and she couldn’t leave the desk.

The room was very clean, but the outlets to use cpap or to charge phones were horrible. Some outlets worked and others especially bed side were hidden where you had to get on the floor with a flashlight to get to it. The hot water was nonexistent. Showered with barely warm water. The breakfast was late to be placed in the warmer. And the coffee was cold. Would not recommend.

When we arrived they told us that they have only one room available and it was a handicapped one ( we are not in that situation). My husband told the receptionist that we did a normal room reservation and she told us that the situation was not in her control ( totally unprofessional) We decided to take the room as it was midnight. When we enter the room, the smell was horrendous and the toilett was broken. We left that horrendous hotel immediately!!!!!

Room 211 didn’t have hot water and the AC made loud noises

Nice stay. The hot water barely got warm after running a long time.

Staff was great -- Cleanliness is not a priority -- check your room!

Plus the people above us were very rowdy and loud all night and early morning.

The location was right off the highway, and a lot of food options in the area. We loved the desk clerk. I think her name was Ginger. She made us feel at home. The hotel was clean. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was amazing!! So many options! And the delicious mini quiches were a pleasant surprise! Would definitely stay again No complaints

Nice hotel and conveniently located. Breakfast starts at 7:00 which was too late for us.

The staff were nice and for the time we stayed there was alot of parking. However the room ..... had alot of issues. Telephone didn't work, floor of the shower was dirty, urine in the toilet when we arrived, curtains were broken and we hade a room with the bright l.e.d. light post right outside, shower smelled of sewage, carpet felt as if juice had been spilled on the floor and not properly cleaned, bugs in the room, the courtesy products left by the hotel for guests were opened and used, and there was bug guts on the wall where the headboard of the bed was. Very disappointed in the quality of the room, it was disgusting.

When we called for room service we got service within minutes.

Breakfast was good, the beds are comfy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful!

The proximity to Winstar Casino is about 10 min or "7 min if you are running late" N/A

MAYBE A BETTER SELECTION, SCRAMBLED EGGS & HASH BROWNS.

We had a wonderful stay! Ginger provided outstanding customer service and made the check-in process quick and easy. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and appreciated. Our room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Ginger, and the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable!
