Unique property with wonderful activities for children. We took in an I-Max show and used the pool and hot tub. Everything was very well maintained

Absolutely loved staying there! We will be back soon. The room was excellent, all of the staff we encountered were wonderful, the steakhouse was the best meal ever, we will be back! Room service breakfast was really good.

Our stay at the Moody Gardens Hotel was excellent! It’s such a beautiful hotel, and our room was HUGE! I loved the super-high ceiling!

This hotel has a ton of potential but, in my opinion, is very poorly managed. First, they allow literally anything to happen in their lobby. I brought my toddler here for the weekend, and they were hosting some conference or event (not sure which) that apparently required all the adult women to wear provocative schoolgirl outfits. Yes, you read that correctly. Neither of the two bedside lamps worked; all the working lights had old bulbs, causing this strange delay. The waterpark was advertised as open on their website and in the schedule they gave me at check-in, yet for some reason it didn't open at all. They don't have enough parking for their attractions, so be prepared to walk. Also, the rainforest exhibit was very overpriced for what you got. The buffet in the main restaurant was also not good. I left the property to get fast food after paying $30 for my plate; it was so bad. I won't be staying here again.

If you don’t pay for and use valet parking it’s quite a distance from the parking lots to the hotel entries. Almost like they are trying to force you to pay the $30 a day valet fee.

Very friendly staff - many stuff to do inside the resort and by the area - family friendly

We went to the beach, but stayed here for the price found in Expedia. We stayed for 2 nights. The 2 night we had a person stayed in the room and we went to the bar wen we came back at 2-3am the person had locked the door from inside and was ASLEEP to the point where he was out of this world. Any way, maintenance came over and with in 30 min we were in ✌. Place is clean and would go back

Great hotel and resort. The restaurants were great. Very huge and spacious. Spa was amazing. Has a cool arcade. Pool was gorgeous. I enjoyed staying at the hotel more than going out to do anything else.
