We’ve stayed at Moody Gardens before and had a great experience. The property and our room was clean, no complaints. After dinner, we decided to get a drink at the bar… The 2 bartenders we not the friendliest. You can definitely tell they didn’t want to be there. My friend who makes friends w every stranger, couldn’t even get small talk out of them. Second day, my husband misplaced his phone and knew it was in the lobby bc his AirPods kept connecting to it. He asked the front desk ladies and they kept saying nobody turned in his phone. When I FaceTimed him, he answered it and we can hear all the noise in the lobby. I saw it was on a desk bc it was facing upward, I asked another lady who walked in the back office and gave us his phone.. Wait what… We thanked her but this is the same person who kept telling my husband no phone was turned in… Later that evening, we gave it another shot at the bar. We ordered 2 pins coladas but one had what looked like think plastic shaving so I asked the younger bartender if we can get another made bc we’ve pulled out like 2-3 of these bits. She made another one without any apologies or whatever. Same thing, saw the plastic shaving again so my friend went and just got a different drink instead. Once again, for the amount of money we paid to stay there, staff need to put their customer service faces and attitudes on. We paid to enjoy ourselves and ask for friendly service. We were all so disappointed… idk if we’ll do Moody Gardens again.

Maravilloso. El hotel ofrece descuentos grandes para el acuario y otras atracciones.
-
For the room, somewhat disappointed in the quality of the mattress and low water pressure in the shower. As for activities, was surprised by the additional charges required for venues that appeared to be a part of the resort, the pyramids and Palm Beach.

Amazing amenities all over the place! Excellent food and affordable prices
-
Beautiful property, excellent room. Staff members are all super helpful, especially with our special room needs.

Loved the cleanliness of the hotel… the quick access, the pool and the things it had to offer although we wished they’d be more upfront about the cost and dreams and passes and what they include, it was a bit confusing… and I thought there would be a free continental breakfast or something similar given the cost of everything else so that was definitely offsetting but the stay ourself was nice.

First of all, we weren't given the room we had booked; when we arrived, we were told that the room with two beds—which I had reserved three weeks in advance—wasn't available. Afterward, when we went up to the room they offered us instead (with one bed and a sofa bed), we noticed a terrible smell of urine—it was absolutely disgusting.

if you book through them palm beach is included if not it’s 15$ a person.

The staff are very nice upfront and at the restaurant. We have stayed here 3 other times. This time we stayed at another side of the hotel. The room was heavily outdated. I understand they are slowly renovating but we had NO water pressure to shower. The bathroom was heavily outdated and showed dirt. For the price we paid it should be much better.

Staff was not very friendly

Excellent place to relax and enjoy family time
-
We tried to check in and they were overbooked and canceled our reservation.

We loved it so much last year, we reserved two additional rooms for additional family members. I was disappointed that our bathtub had a spot that was rusty, so when running water it made the water turn brown making my grandson afraid to take a bath in our room. He used another family member’s room. The mosquitoes also attacked us on our walk to Palm Beach! My husband said there were at least 50 on my back. Both grandkids have more bites than I choose to count. I know you can spray for mosquitoes if a priority, because we do it at our house and it has eliminated them almost completely!

They lied on me and stole from me. I was alone and I’m a black woman. Record your entire stay or accrue
