Inn at The Waterpark

We stayed here on our 4th of July trip to Galveston. The room was great. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the AC unit worked very well. My kids had a lot of fun swimming in the pool and playing the complimentary mini-golf. The free breakfast in the mornings was very limited re options, but it was sufficient.

Staff was wonderful. The rooms were cleaned and spacious.

Would recommend to anyone. Great overall stay. No protein for breakfast but still decent

Fun place to stay

Have to climb 3 fli g it's of stairs with luggage. No elevator. Cant hook Playstation or any console up to the TV. Breakfast only hot thing is pancakes. Was a good stay over all though. Schlitterbahn & moody gardens are basically on same street next to the hotel.

Room was very clean ac worked and comfortable

The staff was great. Clean room. Very small bathroom. Bathroom lock was iffy. Definitely needs some upgrades. Only stairs to get the the 2 nd floor which made it very hard with luggage. Need to install elevators. The mini golf course was nice and clean, my son loved it. Our microwave wouldn’t work so someone came right away and replaced it. Location was a good ways from the beach and everything else to do. It’s right next door to schlitterbahn. My son brought his Xbox to play but they have a lock on the hdmi so keep that in mind. He wasn’t happy. They also stated that they are pet friendly, and they are but they do charge $100 pet fee. Had I known that, I never would have booked there. I’ve never paid more than $25 pet fee at any hotel. All in all I give it 3-4 stars.

The rooms could be cleaner

The shower was so small I couldn’t even turn around in it. The “continental breakfast” was beyond lackluster. They didn’t even have any fruit!

Room stunk and there is some updating needed but over all wasn’t too bad. I will stay there again.

Last resort

We stayed there for the weekend and it was a great place to stay the property was clean and the staff was really friendly

The room was okay, not the fanciest place but met our needs. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the design of the shower was not great because the shower curtain easily allowed water to leak onto the floor. We could hear the people above us every time they walked, and in the morning we were woken up by what had to be a small child running back and forth for over an hour.

Room was in the back section where there was covered parking. Good lighting

We've not stayed here in years and now we won't be staying anymore, this place has gone downhill, not worth the money we paid to stay here, I requested a 1st floor room months back and received a 2nd floor room, breakfast could've been a lot better, coffee was good though, room was clean, but the stairs to the 2nd floor 220's rooms are an accident and lawsuit waiting to happen, broken rails too, while checking out the woman at the counter just turned towards me and told me to just put the cards in the basket and turned back to her phone, no how was your stay, thank you for staying with or a comeback again, yeah we won't be returning.
