We liked our stay, nice view of the ocean and balcony. Great breakfast and we loved the pool.

It’s a decent place to stay just old and needs some maintenance. Breakfast was really good . Staff was great. Didn’t make it to the beach no time.

The room had mold on the walls and smelled moldy. Other guests also complained of the musty smell. Staff was very friendly. We paid $300 a night for a room and this should have been more of $100 night room due to quality.

The front desk staff when we checked in was great. Very friendly. Very helpful. Had 2 rooms. Plenty of space for our large family. Location was great! Price was ridiculous for the way this place looked. I took a few pics before we left. Rooms need a serious refurb. Doors dont close properly our room door had a 1 inch gap under it. Could see the hallway. The balcony doors had gaps and you could see outside. The cabinet that held the sink and fridge was broken. Had to lift the sink and push the side back in. Stayed 1 night for a cruise. I went to talk to the front desk in the evening and couldn't believe the way the employee talked to me and acted. He was very rude and disrespectful. He told me that their customers know the conditions and accept them cause they are in a good location and have a good breakfast. He said the customers are regulars and they are used to it. I was furious and trying to not ruin my birthday and vacation so I walked away. I didn't get his name but I won't forget him.

Loved it! Ocean view was amazing. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was on point! Beach access was right across the street, but still made it uneasy to crossover with the traffic flow. Overall, my 3 day wknd turned out better than expected. Yeah some things are outdated & look like need to be replaced in the room/hotel, but for just having to sleep & shower, I didn't let the little things bother me none. All that I needed was provided for so I made sure to enjoy my stay. Thank u Holiday Inn for making that happen!

The front desk employee was very energetic and really seemed like he likes his job. Very refreshing. The breakfast attendants were on top of making sure nothing ran out. They also stayed on top of wiping tables for the next guest to have a clean table to eat on The computer in the business center did not work and neither did the AC. The dryer did not dry my clothes so I had to find a laundry mat after spending over an hour in the laundry room.

We were facing the ocean so had perfect view! The staff were wonderful and our rooms were clean! I would Definitely stay here again! It’s close to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbaun as well. Walmart and restaurants right up the road. PERFECT SPOT!

Solid hotel with great staff.

We thought this place was great for the price! The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked great and our room was very clean. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We loved that we could walk across the street to the beach and that we were at the quieter end of the city where the traffic and beach is less busy.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple years in a row. Friendly staff, clean facilities, excellent breakfast and right across from the beach.Beach is not as crowded because hotel is on the west end but still close enough to the main businesses to get what you need.

The breakfast was great with a variety of choices for the kiddos! We will definitely be back for our future stays!

We stayed just for 1 night. The only things I'd complain about are that there was a distinct smell in the elevator vestibule for the ground level parking, and one of the elevators was a little janky. Like, shaking some as it would stop to let us off. Other than that, we were happy with our stay!

We’re currently living in a hotel back home after our house took on flooding almost 2 weeks ago and my kids ask every morning why this hotel doesn’t have the same breakfast! It was a hit. The pool was nice and clean. The staff were excellent. Also loved being able to find a hotel room that could accommodate my family of 6, thanks to the queen sleeper sofa. We don’t see that often! Nothing!

That they booked a room at Best western next door as my room was flooded Didn’t even stay there

Breakfast was a great variety for families. Location was right across from beach. Couch had bed bugs. They did allow us to change rooms. Internet was down.

The food was nice.Would I like to have waffles?Instead of pancakes

The flooring is damaged, there was a fan in the hallway on the floor, the wifi was down, and the light fixtures had some kind rusty wear and tear on it. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The night clerk was very hospitable. I did get a message the weekend before saying they had wifi problems but hoped it would be restored by the time I arrived. It wasn’t.
