Courtyard by Marriott Galveston Island

Absolutely loved this location, just hated that there was no continental breakfast. My kids loved the pool and I love the bar which includes foods and drinks.

My family was very surprised at how nice, clean, and large the rooms were. Very comfortable for an overnight stay. Was able to enjoy the pool, nice seating area in the lobby and the comp breakfast was really good. Overall one of the best experiences we've had at a hotel.

I didn’t mind to stay at all. I only had a little bit of issue at the pool when there was no towels. The pool was packed, and apparently the hotel was sold out and they did not have enough towels. It also seemed that the Weight staff in the Pool area was overwhelmed and could not keep up with drink, orders or food orders or picking up food orders.. the room was clean and the staff was very kind

Great place! Beautiful view! Room was immaculate, pool was clean and relaxing! Overall, and excellent stay!

All was great, everyone was friendly from start to end!!!! My kiddos enjoyed the pool, would definitely book again!

There was a eater leak from the ceiling just before the entry to the bathroom and the two USB charger ports on the couch didnt work but other then that, the beds were super comfy and I would stay again.

Very clean room, great pool with poolside bar.

great room with balcony and sea view. Nice pool and pool bar with food. Beds are very comfy and face the ocean. Standard bathrooms. Issues with streaming tv and personal devices, put in multiple requests but was never resolved. Otherwise, would stay again just for the beds.

Pool bar and staff were fantastic! “Key” was so kind, young man at front desk was also very kind. Balcony view room had no chairs for us to sit on. They “ran” out, had to roll out the desk chair and share among the 3 of us. Pool was nice but is shared with people that buy passes to swim there but are not staying. Got very crowded at times. Loved that it’s across the street from the Seawall tho. Super comfy beds!

I book this hotel specifically for a patio and the restaurant in the building. However my room did not have a patio and the restaurant was not open the evening I arrived nor the next morning I went downstairs. Also there was no phone signal at all and the hotel wifi did not make it any better.

I booked a specific room through Expedia, but the hotel gave me a completely different one when I arrived. When I asked about the change, staff only apologized and offered no solution or explanation. This was frustrating and misleading, especially since I paid for a particular room type. The experience left me feeling disappointed and let down by both the hotel and the accuracy of their listings.

There was 2 staff members Chava and a new girl who just moved from Arizona who went above and beyond and if I ever return or recommend this hotel it will be because of them The room was clean the window leaked and was soaked We had to ask for extra blankets for our other guests the room was not ready for 6 guest and that to me is unacceptable since they had an extra hour and a half to do that

Ice maker on 2/F not working

The Courtyard made the entire experience delightful. I really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the pool is nice. The lobby is spacious and the entire hotel is so clean and prestine. I will be coming back again soon.
