Galveston Beach Hotel

The first room we had, the door latch wasn't working properly. We were moved to the third floor. The floors to the other room weren't clean. There were two TV's but only one worked. I asked two different staff members if we could park where we were when we arrived and they both said it was ok as long as we weren't on the white part of the curb. Some black girl that was asleep in the car (that works there) told us we couldn't park in front of her. I have pictures to prove it. I explained to her that I had already asked two other people and they said it was ok, but she was telling me that if we were towed it wouldn't be on her. The elevator to the third floor going down doesn't work properly. The elevator wouldn't always go to the third floor. I had to reset my key at least three different times. We did not have a pleasant stay at this place and more than likely never return. If you'd like the pictures let me know.

The continental breakfast was very good, the staff was very helpful. The property was very clean, and you have free parking.

Great hotel with a swimming pool and free parking and breakfast and housekeeping and air conditioning. Great location across the street of the cleanest and least populated part of the Sea Wall beach. Next door to the hotel is a recliner seat movie theatre and bowling alley. Several elevators along the depth of the halls of the 3 floors of hotel rooms. Ice machine. Coffee and microwave in each room.

Amazing views! It is right across from the beach and the best included breakfast we have ever had! The bed and the pillow make it hard to get up for breakfast because it’s so dang comfy. Incredible price! We will definitely be returning!

Enjoyed a one night stay in a large, nice, clean room. Friendly hotel. The bed was a bit soft and lumpy, but still comfortable. Lotion was missing. Good breakfast, no meats though.

Had mold smell, cracks on the wall

I was led to believe i would have an ocean view, I had a parking lot view

Great rooms, clean and spacious with a wonderful hot breakfast included. Walk to the beach and enjoy stunning sunrises.

Room was okay, needed some remodeling but balcony was very unsafe. The rails were loose and flimsy. Breakfast and pool were good and of course beachfront is a plus. They are in need of serious remodeling though.

Other than the door being a little challenging to get open, the hotel was c;lean, the staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and we had an enjoyable stay. Liked being able to walk across the street to the beach

This is a good hotel if you are on a tight budget.

Had a smell when you walked in that was a musty smell. Last day went to the front desk and a roach was crawling across the desk. Keys had to be rekeyed multiple times and were never by a phone. Staff at breakfast was super rude when asking for a fork that their dispenser ran out
