Comfort Suites Galveston Cruise Port Area – Beachside

The room was great and I really liked the balcony. The hotel had been freshly painted on the inside and looked very nice. The AC in our room pumped out really cold air and kept it very comfortable! Will book again!

This property it's not worth the money they charge for it . The staff was really rude . And smell really bad the humidity smell was overpowering. The room was still dirty one of the beds was not even made . To expensive for the quality. It does says 2 min walk to the beach it don't say it's a hill . So if you have disable or elderly people it's really not an easy walk .

Front desk staff not very helpful. Room had a balcony that didnt lock and could not get a new room. Old hotel feel. Wont use this facility again.

Do no book this hotel. Pool and hot tub area doesn't match the picture. Breakfast area all the chairs are ripped the tables are not stable grass is not cut and the parking lot is covered with nails and screws this place is not well maintained at all

The staff were really nice and friendly. The guest dryer was broken so they would take our wet clothes and dry them for us. The breakfast was really good but it would have been nice if they would switch it up some instead of serving exact same thing every morning (we were there 3 mornings). We did kill a few roaches in the room! And the entire hallway smelled like weed because someone at the end of the hall was enjoying themselves. The lady working went and told the guest they had to leave but she was still in her room the next morning, smoking. As an adult I didnt really mind but my kids didnt like it and were getting headaches from how strong the smell was. Parking was easy, great location if you're there for the beach, property was really clean, pool was nice and clean also.

Horrible experience with the exception of 1employee named Gloria. If not for her, I would have nothing good to say about my stay!

The hotel over all was good when we checked in for a overnight stay there was no wash cloths in the room and the sofa bed we didn’t have any pillows, went to front desk and they didn’t have any.

The greeting staff could have been a bit more professional but the bartender gal made up for it. The rooms are super clean and modern. The bathrooms were also updated and clean. I was very disappointed that their 1 washer was out of order. Over all I’d give this property a 8/10.

First inspiration is started when you arrive at location, and the outside is not clean and well maintained. Even the hotel vans parked by blocking the pick up drop off area. The break fast is not serviced properly. Most of the utensils and foods are out and staffs are not available as needed.

We asked the front desk to get it cleaned and we were told they don’t have housekeeping every day.

Staffs at the hotel are vey nice nd helpful and the room was clean but bathroom was not that clean especially the shower place. Water pipes in the tub was about to come off. Other than that everything was 👍.

As soon as me and my family arrived the front desk lady was not very nice she seemed like she was in a hurry to leave and our room that we got it was just not what we expected there was alot of hair in the bed restroom floor and your not going to believe it but there was also lots of hairs in the small fridges. Im just a little disappointed because you would expect a decent clean room for something expensive that it costed me. Im sorry but I dont recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff but this hotel needs work. The exterior needs a major overall. The fitness center had broken machines. The back door was taped to not lock. The pool door didn’t lock. Washing machine broken. Smoking employee by door. One luggage cart was broken and one was partially broken. Our bathroom was dirty.

The staff was great especially Kelly. She was awesome and helpful with anything we needed.

Be helpful and several staff rooms were clean great value
