Me and my family enjoyed our stay. Nice pool. Good breakfast (not free)at the Courtyard next door. Overall 👍

Breakfast was good

Everything was excellent

I loved the kitchenette and they had utensils and pans. Overall everything was great the only thing is that our room didnt have a sofabed which mostly all hotels I've been in have sofas.

The breakfast was not good and it was very warm in the breakfast area. Otherwise everything else was fine

Property was great. The room was clean and pretty spacious. The pool and the outside bar was really awesome amenity. Would definitely come back.

Loved everything the room was clean and the staff was clean but best of all I love the swimming pool it was playing. It was well killed, and the employees were so nice. Kept the towels stocked and cabana. The cabana guy was very very good with the menu and getting the order out to you and it just wonderful and I just wanna thank you for it the beautiful clean room and the swimming pool.

This hotel has some horrible reviews. I was praying they were wrong, and they were. Room was clean, staff was friendly, great location, pool was nice-minus the water being warm. Id stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Galveston Island! We originally booked Friday through Sunday, but loved it so much that we extended our stay another night and checked out Monday. The room was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was spacious, well designed, and had a layout that made traveling with my son and two nieces so comfortable. We never felt crowded and truly enjoyed relaxing there after spending time at the beach. We also loved that the hotel is dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus. The pool area was beautiful, and having the restaurant and bar right there made it even better. A special thank you to the pool bartender, who was so friendly and welcoming. He made our afternoons even more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was good and had enough options to get us started each morning before heading out. The location was perfect! We simply walked across the street to the beach, which was never overcrowded, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. The value was outstanding for the quality of the room, amenities, and location. When we decided to stay an extra night, the staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to remain in the same room instead of moving us. That level of customer service made a lasting impression. Every staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. This was one of our favorite family getaways, and we will absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galveston!

It is a very good property—clean and with great amenities—but the breakfast was horrible, a disaster, and disrespectful. First of all, the food was very scarce given the number of guests, and there were very few options; there were no plates or cutlery available for serving oneself, so I asked, "What are we supposed to eat with—our hands?" I ultimately decided to leave without eating, very upset by the situation, as were other guests who were also unhappy. If they cannot offer a quality breakfast, they would be better off not including it at all.It happened at 8:00 AM starting the breakfast.

The door to our suite was very difficult to open/close but we let the front desk know and they were very apologetic. Otherwise the suite was clean and comfortable. The pool area between the two hotels was well maintained and perfect for after the beach

Pizza box left in fridge. Was is a little small.

We wait in our room for almost 2 hours. Only 2 towels for 6 persons

Great location to the seawall. Could easily walk/ drive to beach area. Pool / exercise room was clean and easily accessible. Have stayed here before. Would give it 5 stars but this time the fire alarm kept going off randomly. For several days. Went off 4 times in the middle of the night between the house of 1:00-3:00am. That doesn’t make the most relaxing vacation.

Overall, the hotel was extremely clean and offered my family and I a pleasant experience. The amenities and housekeeping were useful as well! Though, one minor inconvenience was one of the front desk workers seemed a bit bothered that we had asked for fresh towels and trash can pick-ups on only a couple of days. We weren’t quite sure as to why she seemed disturbed by it, but if we were given a light clean-up everyday it would have been perfect. Our room was cozy and very comfortable, everything worked properly and we didn’t have a single problem with A.C., bathrooms, and the kitchen. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, the faculty helps out, disregarding one, and it will leave you feeling well rested without a worry!
